As much as I love to troll USC fans about their penalties from the Bush stuff, the NCAA completely hosed USC.
yeah but damn.. Reggie was an idiot. He had no problem making a deal to get his parents a dream house, some cash, jewelry and a new Charger.. but then went ghost as soon as he got paid from being the #2 pick of the 2006 Draft?

NCAA is a fuck schtick organizations, but once that story hit Real Sports on HBO, you knew the hammer was going to come down.

Reggie eventually paid those guys, he should have done it when it was between them.

Vince Young net worth and salary: Vince Young is a former NFL player who has a net worth of negative $1.5 million. Vince Young was born on May 18, 1982 in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.

Reggie was greedy at 20 yrs old but he's not an idiot. Vince Young well that's another story.

It's actually a bit remarkable that we haven't had a USC-Oregon CCG yet.

Timing. Oregon started getting better during the Pete Carroll era, but no one outside the PAC really noticed because everything was about USC.

Then, just as Oregon was stepping up nationally, USC got hit with sanctions.

Then, as we started to get past the sanctions and had a couple of CCG teams, Oregon had hit a little bit of a downturn.

Barring something unforeseen, it looks like it's finally going to USC/Oregon for a little while.

It was actually stupidity on the parts of both Reggie and the guy who provided the money for the house, Michael Michaels. As well as Reggie's stepfather and the "middleman" Lloyd Lake.

In the weeks leading up to the NC game, it started looking like Reggie wasn't going to sign with the sports agency that his stepfather, a guy named Lloyd Lake and Michaels they were trying to set up.

Apparently, things started going a little sideways between Lake and Reggie's stepfather. That's when Michaels started getting nervous and asking about his money.

Both Reggie and his stepfather assured him he would be paid pack when Reggie got to the NFL, but Michaels didn't believe them.

If Reggie had kept his mouth shut about not signing with an agency that didn't officially exist yet, at least until after the NCG, or found a way to placate Michaels, it's doubtful anyone would know what happened.

The funny thing is, if you're going to do something like that, they actually came up with a fairly fool proof plan if everyone had kept their mouths shut.

They had kept everything away from the campus so they didn't have to worry about anyone seeing anything or getting suspicious.

In my opinion Reggies step father gets most of the blame. These two guys were friends or acquaintances of his. Not saying Reggie didn't do wrong, he sure did but the step dad was super greedy.

Wont happen. Oregon lucked out against a Wazzu team who had an undisciplined QB. Won’t happen again. Maybe in a year when Oregon is superior at every position but right now we got them beat at QB, RB, WR, we have the best O lineman in the conference, more returning defensive players including 3 sophomores who were better than their 4 and 5 star recruits and the best PK in the entire country, as he was last year too but was boned in the voting for Groza award.

Wazzu will be lucky to be bowl eligible in 2020

There ya go - that’s a great attitude to have. Hope you guys make a Bowl this year. BTW - Blake went to grade school with my daughter here in Texas.
