3 or 4, it really doesn't matter. If those are the top 4 teams, then I like the Gator's chances.
Ohio State can't beat the Gators, and Oregon can't win a national championship. So it's basically either Clemson or Florida to win it all.

• Well neither one of them are "Road Warriors" but that's pretty normal for P5s.
• Both get most of their "tough" games at home. (Not counting the WLOCP)
• Oregon's OOC is definitely better than Florida's...even if FSU turnsout to be much better and there are only 3 OOCs instead of 4.
• While the PAC 12 isn't as strong as the SEC overall, Florida avoids Bama, Auburn and A&M. So their conference schedule isn't a "tough" SEC one either...unless Tennessee and LSU turn out to be real good.

Overall, I have to agree. Oregon's 12 look more difficult than Florida's...even if the SEC is a better conference overall than the PAC 12. JMO.

As far as which offense has the easier path.

As far as which offense I would take. I'll take a known solid QB in Trask at Florida vs the unknown over at Oregon but both offenses rank fairly close last year.

I had tickets to that game and didn't go!

As the story goes, the last year I didn't go to a CFB Game was 1988 - when I was stationed in Korea in the Army. Actually considered going to the Iowa @ Hawaii game to open the season and the Okla. State vs. Texas Tech game @ Tokyo game to end the regular season, but plans fell through on both.

SO, I left the Army and headed to Iowa State in 1989. Since I became a Cyclone and started going to CFB Games regularly in 1989 (after I left the Army), I have Bowled all but 3 years.

1989: Just stayed in Iowa for the holidays and hung out with my brother in Des Moines.

2008: Lived in Cincinnati and had tickets and plans to go to the Sugar Bowl, but got violently ill in the middle of the night before I flew to New Orleans and had to cancel my trip. Was too sick to travel. Food poisoning, I think.

2014: Had Sugar Bowl and National Championship Tickets. Sold the Sugar Bowl tickets and decided to wait for the National Championship Game. When Alabama lost the Sugar Bowl, I sold my tickets and stayed at home. Would have gone, but my convert wife was so pissed, she didn't want to go to the Ohio State vs. Oregon Game @ Arlington.

So, since 1989, the 3 times I have missed Bowl Season, Alabama lost in the Sugar Bowl to Miami (Fla.), Utah and Ohio State! I've been to 4 Sugar Bowls (1980, 1985, 1995 and 1998) including seeing Coach Bryant win his final National Championship, but I despise the Sugar Bowl. I literally would rather go to any other Bowl Game for a good time.

Only thing that would be easier is if they had Ark and MissSt. And their ooc is nothing.

I wouldn't say that ANYBODY is a de facto winner of anything this year in any sport. Covid and injuries can change a lot.

Athlon unit rankings have Oregon at 5 nationally at RB and Florida at 10th in WR so maybe Florida is in better shape than i thought from my prior and they have the advantage there.
based on conference positional rankings they have
Oregon at 8th in QB 1 at WR and O line and 3rd at WR
Florida is 2 in QB, 11 at RB 3 at WR and 7 at O line.

so I dont think i was too far off with what i said before.

Because so many teams do not have a starting QB returning in the PAC. Oregon at least brought in a grad transfer with starting experience.
