I actually just got to really watch it in depth for the first time a few times. I wouldn't be surprised if he only gets 1-2 games. Given the recent situation with Miller. While I believe Tootoo just didn't give a shit, he could have cut around Miller, but that lane was blocked by Ehrhoff. Good to see the Sabres grow a set of balls though.

After finally seeing the video, I didn't think it was that bad. He had the puck and Ehrhoff couldn't get positioning to stop him from driving the net. And I want my guys to drive the net with the puck. I think the Lucic hit was worse than this one.

I also think that Buffalo responded how they should have (and how they should have responded to Lucic too). I think the it was called correctly two minutes for Tootoo. I don't think there needs to be a suspension. This is a tough game and contact happens, I do not want to see a league were anytime there is some penalized contact suspensions are handed out.

My mistake I didn't actually see the game. I think it was worthy of two minutes, I don't think it was bad enough to warrant a game misconduct but I can understand the referee's reasoning about trying to keep control of the game.

Yes twitter is 99 percent crap. I think that Buffalo should have went after Lucic just as hard as they went after Tootoo. I liked seeing Miller take shots at Tootoo as well. Having played goal for a few years I can appreciate a goalie's frustration. Plus angry goalies are great television.
