I wonder if Rick Reilly will be fired
I hear talk against Bama is not allowed at ESPN
That's really sad, I would expect better out of you.

Wait, Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State because the two women's basketball coaches died?
Virginia Tech was ranked 3rd in the coaches poll. I hope the pollsters take those votes (thanks and all) and gives them to OK State.
So to sum up. Oklahoma State has played the better schedule, Oklahoma State has beat the better teams, SEC officials, coaches and fans are against rematches ( see 2006's uproar) and SEC officials, coaches and fans are 100% OK with teams playing for national titles with losses to average teams ( see 2003 LSU, 2007 LSU, 2008 Florida). That makes this decision pretty easy if OK State beats OU on Saturday I guess... Thanks guys!![]()
rep when i can
Bama being the second best team in the nation is an OPINION. It is not backed by a quality resume, it is not backed by winning a division, it is not backed by winning a conference. Bama has no real argument to be in this game other than "we THINK we're the second best team, you should just ignore all those other conference Champs because we look better and barely lost"
That's just absurd.
I guess you can only lose to teams with 5+ losses and play for the BCS title if you are in the SEC??? ( 2003, LSU, 2007 LSU, 2008 Florida)
2008 Ole Miss
Finished 9-4 and ranked in the top 15 in both the Coaches Poll and AP Poll.
I know it's only a one game difference, but that "terrible" loss went on to r*pe Texas Tech who was in a 3 way tie for the Big12 South.
What is really absurd is thinking that a team that just lost to a 6 and 5 iowa state team should even be considered for a BCS game. Really goes to show how weak the Big 12 really is where there best team can lose to a 6 and 5 team. You would have to be some kinda fuckin moron if you thought OSU deserved to be in the NCG.
That's really sad, I would expect better out of you.
you know why Iowa State is 6-5, they lost 5 Big 12 games
shows the Big 12 is a deep conference where 9 of the 10 teams can win on any given weekend.
Ooops. My bad. Thought that Ole Miss team was 8-5. Oh well. Point still holdsThanks for the correction though. I hate messing up like that.
Well if you're trying to knock a conference at least do a little more thorough research.
If your point was that 2 BCS championships were won by SEC teams who lost to teams with 5 losses, then it still holds.
BTW, I'm not arguing against your main point, I think the circumstances outside the game probably affected OSU, and a win tomorrow should put them in the title game.
