It's going to take a helluva lot for Texas to skip its state fair. The Oklahoma state fair is right before the Texas fair so we'll have a good idea a couple of weeks before the game. The last RRS game I went to was the 2017 one where Texas came back then Sam got concussed.. That was a much different experience than the 2011 game I previously went to. In 2017, there was no fighting and I even received a few plastic beers from ou fans in the tent. In 2011 it was on in the parking lot, inside the fair and outside after the game lol

The level of denial is just crazy. First of all, Clemson dominated you for three quarters. They came in arrogant (Dabo's team always runs on emotion), got smacked in the mouth, and Ohio State took a 16-0 lead. It happens, look at Alabama-Utah from a few years back. Then Clemson just completely manhandled Ohio State and outscored you 29-7.

Also, not the same Ohio State team. You lost half of your starters and a ton of backup production. You lost your best player (whom Jackson Carman humiliated), your best defensive back (I can't say anything about Okudah, he was amazing), your second best defensive back, your best safety in years, one of your best receivers ever (and three other top receivers), one of your best running backs ever (and don't try to tell me Teague is as good as Dobbins), 2 starting linemen, your three best defensive tackles, and a number of other players. Ohio State should be very good at a few positions (your linebackers might finally be elite), but it seems likely there will be a step back in the secondary, defensive line, wide receiver, and running back.

But you want to keep running your mouth about last year's game (BTW, Clemson is able to count that as a W, what does that make Ohio State?) But what's your excuse for the other five losses against teams from South Carolina? What's your excuse for 2016? Did you not want to be there? And just in case you forgot.

If we face you this year, there simply can't be any way we have yet another TD stolen by inept refs right? I mean, you do know that's the reason you won, of course. It can't happen two years in a row, I wouldn't think.

Well based on performances in said bowl games, better hope Boise isn't matched up with Texas. Texas shows out, and kick starts the hype machine for the following season.

No doubt you’ve showed out during bowl season recently. Boise has too in the big ones though. 3-0 in the Fiesta Bowl with wins over #3, #7, and #10. That said we are a shell of our former selves. Not only will I be surprised if we make a NY6, I’m pretty certain if we do we’ll likely get boat raced.

I've seen everything at that game. One year I saw two UT kids helping an old OU couple carry all their stuff back to the car after the game. Another time we were going back to our car which was parked east of the fairgrounds and there was a Texas fan standing on the hood of someone's car pissing on the windshield. I've seen scrawny OU fans taunting Horns fans after the game who were about 6'5" and in a real bad mood. Even the OU fans were warning them to STFU! There is no way to predict the OU/Texas game. It's futile. There is just so much riding on it there's no way to predict how a bad call or a lucky break will make it or break it for either team. Punt returns seem to make the biggest difference in that game for some reason.
