yes and lol ...was this just a cdn thing?

these weren't quite remotes. remoted just controlled your TV
these suckers doubled your channels!
my neighbour had one - livin' the high life.

our first VCR was close to $1,000, had a 6 foot wired remote, so only the person
at the one end of the couch could control it

Comeds and Toni Collette would be a tough team to beat.
We could have a bumper stickers that said "Toni Collette Is My Co-pilot" and "Don't Blame Me, I Voted For Toni Collette"

Ill have to take a picture of it when im over at my parents house next time but we had one of these ... probably 20 years ago (jesus :L ) my dad took the tube and right side controls out, took off the top, cut down the side panels and put the top back on and voila ... new/old tv stand for their new digital tv to rest on lol

I ripped the guts out of one of those too - had the record player sitting on top, all my records in the bottom section.
Obligatory speaker towers on each side. I miss A&B Sound.

KVOS channel 12. that's where the Saturday morning cartoons were.
whatever channel 13 was had the scrambled boobs late on Friday nights.

I'm reminded of that tweet I posted earlier of the difference in photo quality of Pluto 25 years ago versus today.
kids have it so easy.

pretty sure 13 was always ckvu (sports page) and i remember they had blue movies late night that WERENT scrambled lol ...TRUST ME I REMEMBER THAT!!! lol

the ppv channels in the late 80’s early 90’s were always the “i think i just saw boob” scrambled channels.

Always remember times when some miracle happened and the channel would come in clear as day

At first glance, I thought that was Statler & Waldorf on the screen.
