WWE announced today that the matches originally slated for WWE NXT Takeover: Tampa Bay will instead air on NXT TV starting 4/1 over "several weeks."

Tomorrow's WWE NXT episode will feature Triple H confronting Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa over the damage they caused the WWE Performance Center in their brawl several weeks ago.

That angle will set the stage for those matches.

Takeover Tampa was slated to feature:

*WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. The Velveteen Dream.

*Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano.

*Ladder Match to determine top contender to WWE NXT Women's Championship.

Dream is gonna be a weird one to watch in this environment. He's got talent, but so much of what he does is playing to the audience. With no audience...it could get really awkward for him

Yeah. I feel like he’s got to stick with it though or else it’ll never work. I feel like he’s one of my many on the roster where he can have a good match with the right opponent but when it comes to carrying a match himself, it’ll look bad.

I feel like it’s highly unlikely that Gargano is going anywhere. I think he loves it down there and if I remember correctly, when he was hurt not long ago, he was training to do behind the scenes stuff for when his career is done. Plus, he’d fall by the wayside in a hurry since Vince probably wouldn’t know how to use him or just not see anything in him.

Both of them have expressed that they don’t want to be called up. Ciampa more for the fact that being called up would shorten his career with all the travel and house shows. Staying with NXT, he can perform longer.
