WTF are we doing? We have now lost/gotten rid of 3 key defensive players(Littleton,Fowler,NRC). How in the world can this be replaced?
And all we have done is re-sign Blythe to a 1 year deal...

I see that the Panthers released Eric Reid. If that guy signs with the Rams, I’m not going to bother watching or listening to any games. I’d rather sign one of the XFL guys before him.

Gurley I could see. Cooks I’m doubtful of because they are loaded at WR. But if it’s a throw in for more picks I’m fine with it. Hate to see Gurley go but he’s making too much even though he’s earned it.

I agree, he earned that money and they decided to pay him but now they regret it. I'll always be a fan of him wherever he goes, don't see many 252 area code guys in the league.

Actually meant Fowler, not Brockers. But at least that's one piece down.

If Brady goes to the Bucs, look for Cooks to be traded and it may be as high as a second. Losing Littleton to keep Fowler was just plain stupid. Somebody named McVay is becoming stupid boy again but the new DC is driving a lot of this. Kiser and Oko are the new LBs. And we may go to the 4-3 as well even when McVay stated earlier that they would stick with the 3-4.

What's so puzzling retro is that Littleton was the 1 stud we had that we knew could make plays in pass coverage and he wasn't bad against the run. Moving on from him is completely stupid especially for this scheme; what is the angle here? Are they planning on trotting out 4 scrubs at LB to fill the void?

So this org has a tendency to dump good RBs, make stupid financial decisions regarding players, lose good LBs... This is the 90s all over again. Wait a minute, is Mike Martz somehow running the show behind the scenes???

Fowler got 18% double teamed and only won those less than 25% of the time and that is with playing next to AD, while Floyd had more qb hits, pressures and better against the run than Fowler. So Rams got better value, for a guy who wanted to be here while picking up another compensatory pick. Win, Win in my book.

Letting Fowler walk and now signing an ex-Bears LB/Edge to a 1 year 10 mil contract which could go as high as 13 mil, Leonard Floyd who the Bears released. He is going to be signed to take Fowler's spot and this is just a plain boneheaded move. This guy's production numbers have been declining for tge last three years and because the new DC worked with him in Fazio's D, that is who they signed. McSnead have lost their minds.

I’m with you but “wasn’t bad against the run” means giving up 3-4 yards? Sometimes 2? He wasn’t a run stuffer and that’s what we need. A thumper that can stick for no gain.

Littleton was also undrafted. The FO has been a bit out of their tree with these contracts but they have been really good drafting without a 1st rounder

Brady is going to the Bucs to work with BA as Jameis Winston is goneso. We should sign him and get rid of another huge contract and that is Goff's. Expect one or both of Gurley and Cooks to be headed in that direction through trade. No wait. Genius boys in the Rams front office will trade Cooks for a fifth and cut Gurley getting nothing for him in return and both will go play with BA and Brady.
