Okie State wins out they are in..if not..its VT

I just think the pollsters will have a very hard time putting two teams of the same conference in the NCG. SO that is why I think if okla state wins out they will get the nod, but if okla state loses to oklahoma and VT wins out then I could see VT taking the jump, because they would have a conference win over a more then likely top 15 team in Clemson. Might just give them a few pts needed to jump the non conf. champ SEC teams.

Yeah they care....about putting the two best teams in the title game. And think about it, the game is in SEC territory, seems like it would mean more money.

I am torn. On the one hand I think whoever is #1 and #2 should play in the BCS NCG. Then on the other hand I dont want to rematch with Bama(mainly because i think they pose the biggest threat to LSUs 3rd BCS title).

I think IF LSU is lucky enough to get to the BCS NCG they will most likely be playing a Bama team that did not win their division or conference. A Bama team that got the luxury of 1 less chance at a loss vs UGA and one less chance of an injury in that game also. A Bama team that will also have an extra weeks rest. A Bama team who LSU already went to their house and beat.

All these are reasons I dont think a rematch is fair.

BUT I still think Bama gets in despite everything I just listed.

LSU should beat Arkansas and then forfeit the SECCG and then you and Bama will almost be on a level playing field. It would be a winner take all (except not really) National Championship between the two "best" teams.

Honestly, I just want VT to focus on our remaining games that's all.

But seriously, how skewed is the current BCS system? I can't for the life of me understand how a team can lose to a CRAPPY IOWA STATE team and still only drop two spots in the computer rankings while they dropped 4 in the human polls. As a result, they land at #4. How convenient. What a joke of a system.

Also IF two SEC teams make it to the NCG, the college football landscape will completely change down the road for sure. No conference is going to sit back and let this kind of story unfold. Too many Div I teams worthy of a shot for that to happen.

Would it? That may not be the case because the teams are in such close proximity there would be less travel until right before the game and might actually cause a decrease in money. Regardless though, it is about the money and the other BCS conferences will definitely require a change in the rules if the SEC gets all the money and no other conference has a shot at it. The BCS was created to make more money, not really decide the best team.

Alabama vs. Oklahoma State or Stanford

As it is right now, Alabama lost the "Game of the Century", dodged the SEC Championship (assuming LSU wins), and will probably get to play for the National Championship

I just don't get the idea of an all SEC National Championship...it doesn't make sense...we have a championship in the SEC, its called the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP...its played in Atlanta! An all SEC National Championship is superfluous, whether its LSU-Bama or Bama-Arky
