He's not back yet. Bens a fn gamer. Ppl always say how he's hurt a lot, he is. He takes hits, extends plays, stands in the pocket.

say what you want about him as a person. I'm not debating any of that.

but as a football player, watching him over the years. A lot of the times, with one game to win, or game on the line, I would of taken Ben. Dude wAnts to win. He also played a big part in some of these guys who have had epic success. Funny that the narrative a lot with him though is he had talent, not he made talent-like a lot of other guys.

For the record, I am not disputing that Ben was a gamer in his prime and took a lot of physical hits fighting in the pocket to extend plays. I am just saying that I am surprised he is coming back. Steelers seem like a bit of a mess to me and he's not winning anything there so why come back?

Tbh. That d was nasty last year. Conner was hurt, juju was hurt. I think Ben and the Steelers think they have a 1 possibly two year window for one last hurrah.

the d with 1-2 pieces can be even stronger. Of the offense can put up like 4-5 more points a game with Ben. They can compete.

can they beat kc? Meh. But it's open. we beat both afc title game teams with Ben healthy. We almost made the playoffs with duck Hodges and fn Rudolph.

I know I'm homeristic, but with that d.......it's like the bears if they could can trubs they r a super bowl contender.
