I mean, I DO actually agree with you, I just am realistic enough to know that most schools don't do what LSU did from last year to this year.

Most schools have to win the Division Titles and Conf Titles first. Maybe OSU is an exception? I mean, they win all the Natl Titles these days, right?

And why PJ Fleck will probably remain at Minnesota. And the coach is probably the #1 factor as to whether or not a recruit chooses to play football where they do.

The high quality of the education UMn offers is probably a lesser factor, but for SOME recruits, it is at least a factor. Remember, parents sometimes have at least some influence over their children's college choice.

The high # of Fortune 500 companies in Minnesota, is relative only in 2 ways, a small percentage of college football players end up in the NFL, so most will want a job after they graduate. The 2nd way it matters, is it means there is alot of money that could end up supporting the school and it's athletic endeavors down the line, because local companies know it's good press when they support the local team.

A&M came in at #24, Virginia came in at #28, FAU, whom you were dissing, would have been the 3rd toughest opponent on your regular season schedule.

NCSU ranked #104, GT ranked #114, Syracuse ranked #79, Charleston ranked #74, SCar ranked #86, BC is #65, FSU #56.

UNC, UL & WF all cracked the Top 50, but not the Top 40.




Now I'm NOT dissing Clemson, they have proved themselves in the past, and they beat OSU this year, so I'm not bashing them, but no way a Clemson fan has any right to diss a B1G team for supposedly beating up on creampuffs.

Wisconsin and Iowa both finished ranked higher than anyone on Clemson's regular season schedule whether conf foe or ooc foe. And UMn misses the East Div big boys? I seem to remember UMn beating Top Ten rated Penn St.

in 2020 we play both Michigan and Mich St.
in 2021 we play Ohio St
in 2022 we play both Mich St and Penn St.
in 2023 we play Ohio St, Michigan AND Mich St.


As for UNC being a creampuff? CBS Sports 130 ranking ranked them better than fully EIGHT of Clemson's opponents this year.
