I really do feel bad for Westbrook getting owned by Chris Paul and OKC this year.

I don't.

Never understood why CP was always scapegoated. Yeah he got injured at terrible times but guy never gave anything less than his all.

There should be a rule where a player can't be captain two years running.

When it's based on fan voting and counts for nothing, they shouldn't put in rules to govern it in my opinion. No positions, just straight top vote-getters, then let the players/coaches fill out the reserves to balance out the rosters.

Look, I don’t like Harden’s style either. He needs to be more engaged off the ball at a minimum.

But, he is averaging 37 points a game. Shooting 37% from 3 with a true shooting % of 62.7%

You don’t tell a scorer like Harden with those efficiency numbers not to shoot. You also don’t bench him.

The problem is fit. Like I said over the summer. Neither Harden or Russ can play off the ball so they take turns. At least CP3 knew how to play off the ball and could make spot up shots efficiently.

Harden is 88th in the league in 3% on the season. Maybe 13 per game is too many at that rate.

Lakers jumped out to that 8-0 lead and I thought..."can't be this easy"...

Is it me or does Kuzma only play really good when at least 1 of the big 2 is out? His game seems to fall off when they're both in the lineup. Almost certain his PPG (which should be expected) but most importantly his fg% is better when Lebron and/or AD is not playing.....Could be wrong

He becomes more of a focal point of the offense. They should aim to always have two of the three on the court at all times in close games. Lebron focuses on AD or kicking out for 3s and less on Kuzma otherwise.

After that win over Houston Saturday it seemed the Lakers were hitting their stride, adapting without AD. They seemed out of step with him back in last night and need to reset themselves a bit. Celtics helped with that, lol.

He is 88th because he takes many high degree of difficulty shots. Of course his percentage would improve with fewer attempts, but his percentage is still high enough to justify that number.

CP3 is well beyond his prime and he drives his teammates nuts, but he is a winner. Westbrook and Harden are not.

Houston would be a better team today if they still had CP3.

I think you're right and I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers trade him. Maybe for a Derrick Rose?

Kuz only makes $1.9M. I don't see the Lakers making any trades of note, especially with KCP's no trade clause. Besides, Rose isn't enough of a 3 pt threat (31.3%) to make sense for this roster. Out of the Lakers' current roster, he's only ahead of 2 players (AD at 29.7% and Bradley at 28.8%).

High degree of difficulty = poor shots. Those are usually due to him trying to draw a foul or fool a ref and are his own fault as poor shot selection.

Me too. 31% from 3 and I'm not giving up Kuzma for him. I don't think the Lakers have a trade to even offer the Pistons that would interest them without including Kuzma.

@TurnUpTheHeat JJ went for 22,6, and 3 tonight. Makes it more comical about why he was in the doghouse for like 2 months. This version of JJ (very similar to 2017 JJ) is clearly better than Leonard/Kelly. I would try to move one of those guys and Waiters if they can make it work. JJ playing this way is probably our 2nd best reserve after Dragic

You'll need to pay someone to take Waiters at this point. Draft picks or prospects added to him in a deal.

Did any media outlet ever confirm that's Delonte West? I saw that on Twitter earlier this afternoon and everybody said it looked like him (it does) but wouldn't go for as to say it was him. The only thing I found was a speculation article from months ago saying it was believed West is homeless (which lends believablity to that stuff today actually being him)

Probably took awhile to hit mainstream outlets because they wanted to authenticate the videos.

Still being referred to as alleged by some, others say it's him.
