The knicks publicly stated they did not want to give him franchise money because of the injury. It was before KD decision to go to Brooklyn. Do I believe the front office? Absolutely not.

You know what's funny? No, not you. :heh: That an injured KD is still better than anyone the Brickabockers have right now.

Lol, Fizdale did not have to tank , his coaching abilities sTANK.
As we have literally told you dozens of times, it is impossible to tell if his coaching stank with the roster he was handed. :frusty:
Even Wooden would have gotten fired coaching this roster for the Knicks management.

He’s been fired twice! 2 cities, Memphis and NY, and I’m sure the huckleberries on here will agree, he had a much much much better roster than the knicks in Memphis ... ohhhh vey!!!!!

It becomes very difficult to define who is tanking and who just sucks in order to enforce. Do you go by payroll? Some stipulation for overhead costs? Dock teams tv revenue if they aren't good enough to draw an audience?

I don't know that it's that difficult. Most of us here seem to be pretty good at picking them out.

None of them should have been an NBA player to begin with! And who the hell is John Jenkins, sounds like a CBS correspondent. ‘ this is John Jenkins A good nite from all of us at CBS, and don’t forget, Fizdale did suck as coach

Kind of the point.

They were all on the Knicks last year.

You asked the question, implying that once players leave the Knocks they go on to bigger and better. That isn’t the case. The reality is that most go to better teams, but they end up playing lesser roles.

Just as I told you they would. Virtually anytime a team changes coach's, there is an uptick in the teams performance because, to players, it's a chance to maybe get more playing time, etc.

But it won't be sustainable because you have a shit roster and you will be calling for this coach to be fired soon enough.

You were saying...

Doesn't change the fact that he hasn't forced his way out of anywhere. He did his time and left as a free agent all 3 times. If he's such an influence, why hasn't everyone else waited for free agency? He may have jump-started the whole super-team thing, and as such got players anxious to not waste their years on crap teams, but that's an indirect influence.

You bring up JR Smith often. What other purpose did your question have?

What you fail to realize is that JR went from being the 2nd option on the Knicks to being the 5th starter on the Cavs.
