It's not accurate to say that Louisville and UCONN have won from this crappy conference. Neither of them have been in this new American conference. When realignment happened, it left UC and UCONN out of the action.... UCONN has not recovered. Memphis is just now recovering from being left out of major conferences and a big part is the star power of Penny Hardaway.

My guess is that in 5 years, UC will be in worse shape than they were with Mick. If I'm wrong, I'll be here J-Will style.

My guess is that in 5 years there will be another major round of re-alignment. UC will not be left out this go around.

I respectfully disagree..... I don't think re-alignment paid off in the ways that it was hoped. Look at all the pissing matches going on with ACC Network launch and cable providers. Some of the teams that moved into new conferences have been horrible fits (hello Rutgers and Maryland!). Anyway, I don't see much tolerance for re-alignment at this time.

I suppose I could see them being picked off by a conference if there were some room.... But I would think they would have to stand in line behind Temple (Philly market) and Houston (Houston market) if it's all for television reasons. We'll see.

And yes, lets go to the Dayton Mall. Smuck!!!!

It feels nice to argue a little about Cincinnati sports....We've all been Bengalized. We're just mailing it in around here.

Lets round up all the old gang and have some heated discussions. We'll probably have to talk about other teams besides the Bengals.... I mean, even Crash knows they suck at this point.

What happened to all the arm chair draft geeks? The Bengals are 0-7. I would’ve thought for sure we’d be arguing over who’s watched which college QB’s tape and calling each other fucktards by now.

I’m so apathetic that I can hardly muster the energy to even argue.

Tua or bust, though. The LSU kid is just another Dalton.

I'd consider Tua a sureshot but he's already having chronic ankle problems.

I haven't watched enough of the other QBs to offer my uneducated opinion on them but I will say Justin Herbert's physical talent is off the charts.

As far as team goals...

-Don't go winless.

-Sanu went for a late second. Sanders went for a third and change. If Green is healthy get what you can for him. Boyd is making 10 million a year and you can't afford 25-30 million in capspace on 2 wrs while you rebuild an entire roster from scratch.

-Play hard down the stretch

We need a quality QB. I will be honest, I haven't watch Tua play hardly at all, but the times in which I have, I was not impressed. At 6'1" tall behind the best offensive line in college football and a #1 ranked WR in the nation, makes him capable of playing behind our offensive line with no AJ Green?

Is he better than Trevor Lawrence who is 6'6", has all the skills coming straight out of high school and the ability to make all the throws? Lawrence doesn't seem to buckle under pressure either at least from what I can tell.

I know Lawrence is not available this year, and we may not be picking this high the following year, but wouldn't it still be better to just spend the draft capital to move up in the draft to attain a franchise QB like Lawrence? Or is Tua, if even available to us going to be good enough to turn this franchise around?
