How do you figure Stanford should be at #2? They've only played one top 25 caliber team, and they needed a bull shit call to win. Oklahoma State has two top 25 caliber wins, and a ton of "solid" wins when compared to Stanford. Boise has one top 25 win as well, but it was a complete beatdown where their win was never in doubt. Outside of having "the chosen one", what have they done to possibly warrant being ahead of those two teams?

ok time for an attempt

1. Oklahoma State- Got pretty lucky against Kansas State that Kansas State's QB choked and missed an open reciever but Oklahoma State has faced advertsity and won, their offense was able to move at will against a pretty good Kansas State defense, bad news is while Oklahoma State went on quick drives Kansas State went on slow time taking drives and Oklahoma State's defense got so tired Kansas State moved the ball at will against them. Oklahoma State at least deserves one number one vote, I'll be that guy.
2. LSU- passed their big test over Alabama, LSU owns the two biggest wins that anyone has, also means they pretty much elimate two teams that will likely have to hope that LSU loses, LSU has a weakness in the entire offense but mainly Jarrett Lee who reverted back to his old pick 6 Lee form against Alabama, LSU may want to watch using him now.
3. Stanford- another conservatively called game where they slowly wore down the other team and pulled away.
4. Boise State- I was pretty pissed about how bad the first half was, 2nd half was better. Liked how the 4th quarter was, this team is a much better 4th quarter team this year.
5. Oregon- Not a blowout win over Washington but a dominant one, unless you play Oregon's offense properly you have no chance in beating them. If you do play it properly you have a great chance in beating them because if you play the Oregon offense properly you don't even need a good defense to stop it.
6. Houston- yeah I didn't plan on moving this team this high but everyone keeps losing so here they are, they don't have many chances to move up though, they won't pass anyone in front unless one of those teams lose, Arkansas could also jump them if Arkansas were to beat LSU. Maybe Oklahoma would jump them with a win over Oklahoma State, fact is Houston won't get above 6th unless a lot happens.
7. Oklahoma- Beat Texas A&M after A&M had their usual 2nd half collapse.
8. Alabama- I actually wanted to drop them 10 spots to 13th to make fun of the fact that Oregon dropped that far for losing to LSU.
9. Clemson- bye week
10. Virginia Tech- how can I rank them this high after struggling with Duke??? hmm lets see, oh Miami blew out Duke, Virginia Tech beat Miami! there we go.
11. Georgia- 42 2nd quarter points is amazing against any non Division 1-AA school.
12. Penn State- bye week
13. Arkansas- beat South Carolina pretty nicely, some of it may go down to South Carolina's offensive struggles, Arkansas's offense moved the ball pretty well. It's tough to say how good this team is because they really don't play a lot of good teams this year. Just LSU and Bama.
14. Kansas State- played great against Oklahoma State, can't drop them too far with how bad other teams are playing.
15. USC- blew out Colorado, I actually forgot they played.
16. Wisconsin- destroyed Purdue
17. Texas- Blew out Texas Tech
18. Nebraska- lost to Northwestern??????? really??? LOL!!! I just realized what a did
19. TCU- beat Wyoming in cold weather, impressive, but they turned it over 4 times, TCU is the team that somehow sucks and plays like a top 10 team in the same game.
20. Michigan State- struggled with Minnesota, that is really bad, even North Dakota State didn't do that.
21. Auburn- actually I'll replace Carolina with them
22. Ohio State- struggled with Indiana??? just when I thought they were good, but you don't have to be good to be in the top 25.
23. Louisiana Lafayette- won their 8th game, pretty much means they have clinched a bowl berth for the first time now a big game with
24. Arkansas State- just wanted to give a call out to these teams, they probably shouldn't be ranked but that's about how everyone else is.
25. North Dakota State- won again, I will still have them 25th to express how bad the other considered teams are
