Desperate? We just landed the best CB in the game. On top of having the best DT in the game. Not to mention a big upgrade for the Rams. Who’s to say a mid or late round 1st rounder is a guaranteed stud? Much less the best at their position in the nfl

Ramsey is 2009 Revis. He could turn a great defense into an all-time-great defense.

2 pillars like Donald & Ramsey could turn scary, eventually. 2 first rounders, which will be late anyway, aren't a lot to pay for a potential HOF CB.

Not sure how they're gonna fit all those guys under the cap, though. Guess Gurley is out this offseason.

And btw.... I’m impressed with your 49ers. Good lesson to my Rams on how to build in trenches and that you don’t have to go pass crazy to win in the NFL. Still early but you all have my respect.

Yeah, that Niners' pass rush is nasty. And the DBs are playing much better than expected (even with Witherspoon out w/ an injury). Jimmy Ward being healthy (which could change if you look at him funny) has helped a lot.

Round 2 in SF is gonna be pretty interesting w/ Ramsey on that D.

If we don’t fix our offense it’s not. But who knows... if we get the TD on the 1 yard line it would have been a better game. Need some better play calling as well. We’ve got holes to fill to be a complete team.

No doubt that it's a huge upgrade for a defense that was reeling. They can't continually ride the back of Aaron Donald with no help on the back end and Peters was a joke. Always trying to play hero and going for the big pick and getting burned more often than not. This will be a shot in the arm for the defense but the offense is also shaky.
Having said that, this trade puts the Rams in that precarious place of win now or be fucked for the forseeable future. Gave up a lot more than anyone else would. I guess time will tell but it smells and looks like a "hail mary".
