Twins extend the record for most consecutive playoff losses.

If the Braves lose tonight it will ties the Cubs record for most consecutive playoff series losses(includes the WCG in 2012)

Don't forget the Twins as the first 100 win team to get swept first round

And ending up being the only series not to go 5 games. Degrading.

How many 100 win teams have had to face another 100 win team in the first round? Can’t be many, especially in the Wild Card era

Game 5's in baseball are about as good as it gets in sports. Looking forward to watching them over the next couple days.

How crazy would it be if both the Dodgers and Astros got bounced in the first round?

Now THAT would be historic.

And the Yankees would have HFA throughout, which would be extra awesome!

:)

Rays have a tough row to hoe with Cole on regular rest in Houston.

If Strasbourg pitches like he did in game 2, the Dodgers are in trouble

Yeah, Glasnow is really good, but he's not Cole. Not yet anyway.

538 gives the Rays a 30% chance. That sounds about right.

"538" is about the number of true Rays fans there are out there in this world..... But right now this has a feeling that this possibly could be there year and they could actually get passed the Astros and beyond. They did knock around Verlander

You know the powers-that-be are rooting for a Cardinals-Yankees 7-game World Series. That does have a lot of "sex appeal". A Nationals-Rays match-up (if Astros are out) would lose a lot of viewership. NYY-STL would probably break records. They last met in the WS In 1964 (STL in 7).

(1)HOU (107-55)
(2)LAD (106-56)
(3)NYY (103-59)
(4)MIN (101-61)
(5)ATL (97-65)
(5)OAK (97-65)

(7)TB (96-66)
(8)WAS (93-69)
(9)STL (91-71)
(10)MIL (89-73)

Teams in BOLD eliminated.

Rise of the underdog, I love it. Exciting playoffs so far!

I want to see Yankees Nats personally.

I know everyone needed the Dodgers in there to counterbalance the AL juggernauts, but I like these 4 best. Might have preferred Braves.

Well top being the first 116 win team to never make the World Series.
