There is a rumor going around that the Skins are taking out loans to make payroll. If true that is a absolutely fantastic news.

If Snyder became financially ruined I would be very happy.

Has anyone else heard these rumors?

I highly doubt it. The League would have stepped in to address any financially struggling franchise before then.

That's paper value. They could be worth a mint and still have operational cash flow issues.

Not only are they not paying him, but he actually owes them money back. Like 1.2M from his signing bonus. That will be a painful check to write.

For you or me perhaps, for Williams perhaps not. It may irk some, but the benefit of getting out of the puzzle factory that is Redskins Park should ease any discomfort writing that check should incur.

Any check that he has to write with Dan Snyder's name on it would be painful.

Maybe they wouldn't. Might want them out of the league, never know. Wouldn't put this past Roger

They revenue share. If one franchise has serious financial issues, it bleeds into all the other franchises.
An issue that affects their bottom line will not be permitted to go on long.

Good point, didn't think about revenue sharing

As of last year the Skins were the NFL's 5th most valuable franchise behind the Boys, Pats, Gmen and Rams. Forbes Releases 21st Annual NFL Team Valuations Other than the revenue sharing I gotta wonder where the Skins are making all this money to sustain that ranking.

TV revenues. The networks still pay a huge kings ransom to air the games.

what if they have to black out?

Honestly with the level of apathy most skins have at this point this should be a major concern
