Completely this (other than Jones after his whole naked escapade). Any other random player and most rational people would say let's wait for the facts to come out before we throw the book at him, and honestly it would probably just get filtered out of the news cycle. But because Brown acted like he did people will struggle more to give him the benefit of the doubt because everyone thinks he's fucked in the head enough to do this and now this distraction will be made into a bigger deal and drawn out longer because of it.

Hell I even think people will be more apt to not care that he's almost certainty being extorted if for no other way than the timing of this whole thing. And if he is innocent he looks like the boy who cried wolf. Accountability finally catching up.
