A couple of things since seeing some of this on TV.

Garrett was in his own press conference after the Cowboys game & they asked him what he thought of Luck's Sudden retirement.
Just the look on his face..... you could tell he knew nothing about it.

I think JJ Watt probably explains it best in his defense of Luck.

Lastly you have to feel for Luck having to leave the field being booed. How quickly those "loyal" fans turn on a person.
I really felt bad for him during his presser

A minor ankle injury was the final straw? Lol

They were talking about maybe ready for week 1 so probably more than minor, but clearly it was a collective view that he had being in that constant cycle as he mentioned...I get it...when you don’t need the money and have ambition of life after football...you can make this call.

Wish him well.

There is something to be said about chronic pain. It can become a quality of life issue. They now have pain management teams to help individuals deal with it. It's a big in the military which can lead to suicide.

Not sure how much pain he was in? But the look on his face and his words lead me to believe he's just tired of being in pain.

yeah I think he doesnt want to do whatever is needed to do another rehab stint. I dont know what his injury is, but seems to me. it would become a lengthy rehab & he probably doesnt feel like going through it again.

No other player that I can recall has had the media make excuse after excuse for them like this guy.

Probably should have invested in an OL there, Indy.

The classic. I'd like to see how far blaming the O line for any of Brady's shitty games would get me.

Andrew Luck was above average to be fair and had some fantastic games but he was never HOF material. I've always head scratched at the praise.

He's no Tiger Woods, thats for sure

What, you mean take off for 13 months every 3 months for some "procedure" and than get hooked on pain pills?
