If Oklahoma beats Ok State and Oregon beats Stanford (which should probably happen) then they probably have a pretty good shot of getting in. Not saying they deserve to be in, but the way it looks right now they are 6th and have a matchup with a team that will be ranked in the top 3 if OK State win their games leading up to OU. Oregon could also sneak in, but i think the voters might try to make sure that doesnt happen (even if thats not the right thing to do).

The computer rankings should not weigh conference power in at all.........that is one of the biggest issues with the BCS. The computer rankings should weigh SOS in (as it already does), but if you're doing that, then why in the hell does there need to be a conference element as well?!

Quit your yappin!! If you was in the BIG TWELVE, you would have a better SOS. Not OUr fault you left for the pasty conference. Nebraska freaking made the BCS title game with no conference title but had the BIG TWELVE SOS. Has the BIG TEN ever had a team do that? Hell no. You know the truth!

The reason I'm yappin is because Nebraska gets screwed in this. Yea, I probably wouldn't give a shit otherwise.........but Nebraska plays all of the best teams in the Big 10 conference, and it shows as Nebraska's SOS is very high.

But then the fact that Nebraska is in the Big 10 which the Media has labled as a poor conference, we get negged for that. That is retarded. We aren't even playing Purdue or Indiana! But apparently that is our fault.

I could care less about the conference overall. BIG TWELVE is considered better than the BIG TEN and has been during the BCS era in terms of football strength and we can Thank Texas for that and its the truth.

What's crazy though is OU hasn't played a BIG TEN team since the 90s. Crazy isn't that?

We have played in the Rose Bowl and 4 BCS title games. 8 BCS games all together and not a single BIG TEN Team.

Now tell me, wtf is wrong with that?

In fact, OU's has only played vs a BIG TEN team 11 times since 1950. Record is 7-4. Nebraska joined a conference OU never really has played, ever. Hope that changes.

either way neither team should be in the discussion unless a lot of crazy stuff happens because Oregon had their shot and lost, Oklahoma lost to an unranked team which is even worse.
