FYI we don't have to use this Dynasty Draft for "keepers" just a thought.

Have you guys ever done a month of birth draft before? We've done them on the other board me, Mookie and Hall are on and they're fun.

If it's baseball next and it's an 18 pick draft, you'll have to pick each month once and from 6 months twice. Also the 2nd month picks can't have ever been a multiple time all star or an award winner (Which would include gold gloves).

Just an idea and I'm open to tweaks.

No, that's way to high, only three teams are over $200M. League average is $135M I think that's a better number.

I guess I'll be in for this cap one. I was looking at some rosters and I honestly don't have a clue who a lot of these guys are. Since the Warriors run in 2015, I haven't really watched any baseball. Starting to again now with the Giants, but I have no idea who were even starters for the all-star team this year. But I'll give it a shot. Definitely need clarification on how the players are viewed for voting, otherwise I'll probably end up drafting all old dudes.

Btw: that shooting that took place yesterday at Gilroy is about an hour away from me. I've been to that festival a few times in the past. Crazy shit.

We will definitely need to sort out voting , how players should be viewed in voting, etc. beforehead. I think voting should be current but also a 3-4 year window should be counted as well.

I think players should be viewed as the player they are currently or if you'd rather maybe 2017-2019

How about this? Just a little wrinkle to start this draft (kinda like a fantasy draft).

You are allowed 2 keepers from your team in this Dynasty draft. You have to select these keepers before the draft. If you choose keepers, they will be designated for your 1st and/or 2nd round picks. If you choose not select keepers you have your 1st and/or 2nd round picks available. Only stipulation is the draft order will be announced after we go through this process.

I think NBA is next in the rotation. We usually like our NBA drafts to be short, so I suggest a 10 round, each 5 plays a half type thing. Nos likes to do restrictions of some sort. Maybe we can do one like we did a while back where we come up with a top 10 or 20 or so list of guys who are ineligible?

I didn't go through the thread, but were there any suggestions brought up before that were put off?
