Tressel Coached at Ohio State from 2001 to 2010. He accumulated a record of 94-22 (81%) with a conference record of 59-14 (81%) finishing as low as 5th in the conference and never ending lower than 20th in National Polls. This is still counting 2010 wins that were vacated for cheating.

His teams won or shared 7 conference titles and played in 3 NCGs winning 1.
His teams received 8 BCS bowl bids, winning 6 (75%) counting the Sugar Bowl win that was vacated for cheating.

Stoops has coached at OU from 1999 to the present. I will give the numbers through the last complete season, 2010.

Stoops has accumulated a record of 129-31 (81%) with a conference record of 78-18 (81%) never finishing lower than 3rd in the conference and finishing with a worst ranking of 22 in the final BCS standing and in season finishing outside the top 25 (read: NR).

His teams won 8 conference titles and played in two NCGs, winning one.
His teams have received 8 BCS bowl bids, winning 3 (37.5 %).



So Bucs, as you can see, Tressel and Stoops are very similar when you look at the numbers regarding their coaching careers. The two biggest differences are the BCS bowl record, with the nod going to Tressel for a better winning percentage, and the institutionalized cheating going on at Ohio State which is a nod to Stoops.

So final conclusion? Tressel = Stoops before you take into consideration Tressel's institutionalized cheating, subsequent firing and associated shame brought upon the University by said cheating.

Therfore Stoops > Tressel and you are an epic failure.
