Yeah...I was just going to say until some SEC teams rise up and slap them around they will continue to be a fixture in the CFP.Alabama isn't going anywhere. The only threat might be the rise of Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M in the SEC to finally give Bama competition in both recruiting and on the field.

The recruiting aspect is the key IMHO. If Bama continues to bring in the talent they have during Saban's run, they'll be okay. Talent can cover up a world of coaching sins. Not all of 'em but a lot of 'em.Interesting take. May have merit. Imagine being a 5*recruited to the same school by 2-3 different coaches. Guess what? You now have to research the coach. If you want to play in the NFL, development matters, many 5*s are drafted after well developed 3*s. Having said that, Saban is the greatest head CFB coach ever IMO. His attention to detail and adaptability as the game changed are unsurpassed. Pretty sure that assistants are on a short leash until they prove themselves...
