Nothing else to say other than what a terrible tragedy.

Can't imagine what his family must be going through. Based on what I read it sounds like it could've been a suicide or an accidental overdose which just makes the entire situation even more tragic. I'm not sure I even want to know.

I haven't heard anything yet on it, but you are right tragic no matter what. I remember the Darryl Kyle death in 2002 I believe. Heart issue in the hotel room and just like that he is gone.

It's weird how the older I get the more unexpected deaths bother me. When I was younger, seeing someone older than me die - even if it was by just a decade - it didn't seem as tragic because I couldn't relate as much. Now whenever I hear of a story like this, it's a tragic reminder that you never know what can happen and our time here is limited.

So true.

just saw a headline saying the angels no-hit the m's in honor of skaggs

good for them

honestly, i haven't paid any attention to the m's or mlb at all this year, so this was all news to me, including about skaggs :(

meanwhile, trader jedi still peddling dogshit for dogshit, and sometimes dogshit for cow shit or horse shit. nevermind that it's all shit for shit, and the team is nowhere for at least another decade. the fucker will probably get a super duper special lifetime extension from the current ownership group/nintendo+

I thought Friday night was incredible but it wasn't until Saturday morning hearing Trout explain numbers and the score that it got really interesting what they had accomplished...

Dang, just found out about the no hitter too. I mean it sucks for the Mariners but as a whole it was good for the Angels and his family I guess.
