Rumor locally is the Jackets are looking at trading some pieces to Vegas for Stastny.

Jackets can take on Clarkson's contract now, and have some cheap pieces with upside. Vegas is 2m over right now, and even losing Clarkson leaves them only 3m under and they have 3 D men and one goalie signed. We can give them 2 young D men, 2 forwards and a goalie for around 2/3rds what Stastny makes.
