I wonder if Odor clears waivers if he can be sent down?

If Evan is right about Odor, then the Rangers management is guilty of a monumental mistake by not sending him down before that time. Very similar to not trading Choo before he gained his 10 and 5 rights, so he is able to veto a trade.

No doubt if EG is correct.

Josh Jung went 2 for 3 tonight with a single, a double and a walk as Tech defeated FSU.

Not sure on pitching Chavez 5 innings in a lost game like this. Now we do not have him for a few days if needed in a close game. Great pitching though. Would rather waste Miller for 5 innings.

If a couple of these WC2 contenders get hot we won't have to worry about this postseason any longer. Then we can resume the mindset of a rebuilding team.
We should have never left that mindset and be seriously looking to unload whomever we can for prospects

I don't mind holding onto pitching as we don't really have any guys that are going to be ready anytime soon...

But a guy like Pence with redundant skills could be sent out for prospects b/c we actually do have someone we're ready to look at in Calhoun...

Forsythe would have to be in that conversation too, I prefer Santana simply bc he provides a BU option in CF

Whether we like it or not, Odor will probably get most of this season to figure it out

Lynn and Minor are just about the only pitching that would get us anything. We are going nowhere this season and probably the next 2 so put the kids out there and accept that they are going to suffer bumps and learn

If we could unload Minor and Lynn and Kelley and Chavez for prospects we could go with a starting staff made up from this group: Sampson, Jurado, Palumbo, Valdez, Arredondo, Burke, Hernandez, Phillips and Hearns

I don’t think the guys in the minors are ready. They probably need another year of seasoning ideally.

We are basically a minor league team right now. Houston was basically a minor league team for a couple of years during their total rebuild

Our lineup is playoff quality tho. Which is weird because the pitching has so many holes.

Playoff quality? Occasionally against mediocre pitching but when they run into better than average pitching they look like the minor league team they are
