You forgot the CAVs and the Raptors...

Cavs and Toronto or both valued pretty high up on the franchise values...Milwaukee is not tho, so i guess you could add them to the list

This is what Windhorst said about the trade...

Anthony Davis Trade: ESPN’s Brian Windhorst calls trade ‘potentially scandalous’ and ‘Nets-Celtics trade part 2’

“What they gave up for him is potentially scandalous,” he told ESPN 710 in Los Angeles. “It is an unbelievable haul that they gave. And not all the details are out there yet, but when they get out there, you’re going to see why. It is the Nets-Celtics trade part 2. It’s going to affect them long after LeBron is out of his prime and maybe no longer on the team.”
“What they gave was one of the most lopsided trades, in terms of draft compensation, in NBA history,” Windhorst said bluntly, adding that the Lakers seem to have given up control of their draft for the next five to seven years.

The Nets-Celtics trade is widely considered among the most lopsided in NBA history. What made it so lopsided was how many draft picks Boston controlled and for how long. Boston received three first rounders and a pick swap for a fourth. Boston ended up with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum with two of those picks, and they traded a third for Kyrie Irving. It seems that this trade may someday challenge that haul.

Considering the Lakers are already going to struggle to fill out their roster after the trade, this news brings up questions of whether Los Angeles gave up too much. The Pelicans, by going long with their pick haul from Los Angeles, are betting the Lakers front office will struggle to fill in those gaps.

If the Lakers are not able to build a strong team around Davis and LeBron James, who turns 35-years-old in December, the Pelicans might just have a pipeline to add strong young talent around Zion Williamson and the rest of the young players they added in this trade.

Griffin is a very good GM, The pelicans turned a player that was leading them nowhere into a ton of assets. A lot of times when a player wants to leave you get close to nothing...

They just SOLD the entire organization to Klutch and Lebron.

Isn't it funny how before the trade deadline a package of Ingram, Lonzo, Kuzma, Hart, Zubac, Rondo and two 1st rounders wasn't enough to trade for AD?

Ingram and Ball were always injured and busts, Kuzma had already hit his ceiling and Hart was a joke.

Now all of a sudden the Lakers overpaid?

Agree... I doubt that the Lakers are much better than the Pels were this season with AD, Randle and Jrue... Bron is aging and the Pels already have C.Wood that can be 90% of what AD was for them within the season...
Depending on Zion's development, the Pels can be contenders for the West from this season if they do all things right...
No

No way they overpaid... they won the trade! They now aren't gonna be humiliated anymore on the floor from the East teams and, the Rockets, the Blazers, the Spurs, or the Nuggets... just loose without ever being humiliated!

They may even "just" make the playoffs!

Trading for picks is never a good idea. 2/3 will be low value.

And New Orleans isn't going to ever be a winner. Nobody will stick around that shithole long enough for it to happen if they did hit on the picks.

Nice job by NO for continuing to play along though. Inconsequential franchises are necessary. Like Milwaukee, Washington and Sacramento.
Milwaukee is becoming a franchise that is a favorable landing spot for many players.

Really? Guess what... Ball, Hurt, Ingram and Randle you was raving about only a few months ago, they are back together again and now have ZION, Jrue and Wood surrounding them...

You was saying ...what? When exactly are you becoming a Pels fan?
They look good on paper but paper won't win NBA Championships.

The Pelicans will most likely be going with very young players.

That's not what you said. Let's see if an FA signs there.
They are attractive because they have built a winner but it remains to be seen if they are pursuing any big name players.

Correct... on team friendly contracts too...

The Bucks clearly won out of this trade happening, as they are (by far) considered to be the East favorites to participate in the NBA finals for next season.

As I keep saying, the next time you are right about something will be the first. Why not make an obvious prediction so you can get in the win column? Something like "I think Klay Thompson will re-sign with Golden State"

Go ahead, it feels good to be right, trust me

Vegas should wait until the off~season is over if you ask me... Good they are starting the Bucks 2nd than the 1/100 they did last season... They seem to be learning some, but not fast enough...

You don’t have to worry about Vegas losing money on prop bets, r*pe is not too strong of a word for what they do to people.

Re-signing Middleton will be a priority.
