There is another team I'm looking at but not going to mention their name. In this pre-season poll, they have 3 games against top 10 teams. They also have 2 games against teams in the 11-20 group. If the Cookie Monster can get thru that and still be in the top 25..........

Also took a look at the UCFakes. I didn't see a single team they will play in the top 25. So they will probably be given a top 25 ranking at season's end.

I will go wild and take Penn State. I know the pollsters love Penn State but I am not seeing it.

Lost Trace McSorley and went 9-4 with him and without Saquon Barkley.

Who is their QB? The heir apparent transferred to Miss State.
Who is their running back? Ricky Slade? He had a whopping 257 yards last season.


Have crossover games with Purdue, @Iowa, and @Minnesota. All went bowling.

Play @Michigan State and @Ohio State.

Play Michigan and Pittsburgh in State College.

Missouri is also breaking in a new QB. but I don't want to study up on Missouri.

I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA holds the bowl ban and Mizzou drops with a record that would otherwise have them it. That seems like one of those things voters would just weigh against them for one reason or another.

Edit: I don't actually want that to sound like I'm already planning a built-in excuse if they're not ranked because I think the Tigers are probably going play like a team that will strattle that line between ranked and unranked all year
