Didn't Mason lead us in tackles a year or two ago? I agree, he's not a long term answer, but cutting him right now with what we have doesn't make us a better team imo.

well if they sign Bynes him and Bostic would be just fine and they can use the cap savings to hopefully sign Tre Boston

If they add another ILB, maybe, but not right now. You can't cut the guy that led you in tackles the previous year when you just lost the guy you planned on playing next to him. If a vet comes free post camp, yeah, I could see it, but at the moment, it just doesn't make sense to me.

well considering we lack cap space and we had a need i think he will do fine as a stop gap which is all we can ask
