If they ever build a statue for Wentz I’d be worried if I were him. That’s a sign he won’t be on the team the following year.

I will give you my choices:

Rams:

Offensive line looks a mess, Cooper Kupp returning from ACL, Gurley's status in limbo, young QB exposed a bit by Belichick. Great defense, but how will that offense perform after getting shut down in the Super Bowl?

Chiefs

The offense lost momentum after Kareem Hunt got cut, and now there is the specter of losing Tyreek Hill. Defense is going to be improved, but I think the offense is not going to be as explosive as it was in Mahomes' first season as a starter.

Chiefs defense is going to be improved??? Hahahaha, you funny. As long as Fat Andy is the HC the Chiefs will suck on defense.

P.S. The Rams QB was exposed in the SB and that ship has sailed.

Yep, our qb was exposed. Gurley is washed up, we're done.

I’m confused... if the Rams don’t make the SB does that mean they “took a step back”?

The Eagles made the playoffs last year. They will not make the playoffs this year.

Hopefully the Rams

Ravens cause I'm not sold on the QB
Maybe KC with a questionable run game and not sure about their D.

One thing you all agree on is you just hope the NFL can find anyone to beat the current dominating SB Champs.

Keep hope alive

1. Packers - Rodgers has been in decline for three years now. Six wins is a pipe dream for this team.
2. 49ers - It will take a few more years to erase the stench of Jim Harbaugh. They will swap records with the Cardinals this year.

I don't know if the Chiefs lost momentum. They dominated their divisional round playoff game and then took the conference title game to OT vs the eventual champs.

However, I do agree that Mahomes will see regression. Not because he isn't the real fuckin deal... because he is in my opinion. You just cannot sustain that production and the sophomore season for QB's tends to include some learning curves. I think it was Marty Schottenheimer who said "If your 2nd year QB can play nearly as good as he did in his rookie season - that's a big, big win." I agree with that, personally. Even if the man was a perennial choker in the post-season. lol

I could see a hangover for the Rams. I could also see the Saints regressing for some reason. I don't know why... just a gut thing. A lot of whispers about Payton leaving and Brees retiring the last couple of years. That loss is one that could lead to a big hangover.

The Chargers seem like such an enigma from year-to-year as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 12-13 games. Nor would I be surprised to see them lose 8 or 9.

Colts continue to rise, IMO. Houston all depends on Watson and I still have questions. Defense is aging a little, I do believe. Jacksonville may return to form. That division could suddenly be solid. Browns should emerge as at least a wild card threat.

I am rather confident that the Bears will at the very least make a parallel jump from last year and have hope from more. Obviously I am biased. Very, very young team. Very young coach. Very young QB. Last year was supposed to be a bridge year and they did much more than that. I suspect GB will be back. I don't expect anything much different for Minnesota, to be honest. Kirk needs to show something. Detroit will be Detroit again, IMO.

Philly should remain good. Dallas should remain good. Washington is a weird team. I kind of liked them before the Smith injury and who knows what kind of QB play they'll get this year. NYG is still putting the pieces together.

ATL is always interesting. Already touched on NO. Panthers have some pieces in place - strange how they fell off the face of the Earth in the 2nd half last season. Bucs inspire zero hope.

San Fran could come around if Jimmy G is healthy. Seahawks will be solid, as usual. I touched on the Rams. Arizona will struggle again for at least another season.

Injuries are excuses. Every team has them. Every team deals with them differently.

I already mentioned NE won a SB while using a WR at DB because of injuries.

NE also have won SBs without arguably the best TE to ever play the game.

Every year NE has had "major" injuries. Yet they find ways to win and when they lose their fans don't use it as an excuse.

Just sayin

Injuries derailed NE in 2012. It's gotten the best of them a couple of times.

Yes but you didn't see NE fans on here claiming injuries were the reason the Pats lost. That was the point.
