Dany is absolutely gonna die, and Jon will do it personally. And it's gonna break him.

This is probably the ultimate act in GRRM's story, and they can't waver from it.

Yeah, he has to go to the far north after right? no way he can hang around Sansa after her betrayal.

This is my thought and what I predicted (and many others) few pages ago. Bitter sweet ending, he kills her but not to take the throne.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if show ends with someones eyes turning blue and creating need for nights watch again.

Not sure what happens to Drogon.

Yep, going back north. He wants nothing of Westeros society.

He doesn't want to be a leader, and he's disgusted by what he saw the people he followed, and led, do in war.

if Arya had hung out in the map room for 5 more minutes, Cersei would walk right into her. Kind of bothers me that she gave up so easily on avenging Ned. You have Arya see Cersei, tell her she is going to kill her, Cersei being like "who the fuck are you?"

then Jaime coming in as Needle enters Cersei...then he is forced to kill Arya

Arya still needs to take out green eyes and Cersei is gone.

On the flip side, I think it would be a cool ending for Dany to be the one.

I think you are reading too much into that line

all it was meant to do was tell her to go kill the Night King

the writers aren't smart enough to carry something like that over 3 episodes later

Same. I am fine with Dany going Mad. But it needed a longer build up than this.

It's a big leap from crucifying the slave masters, and fighting battles for a throne, to unnecessarily roasting the entire city.

Once the bells rang she had three choices, IMO.

1) War is over. Wait for her army to mop up and take possession of everything.
2) Go and hit the Keep where Cersei surely was. Sure there is some collateral damage, but at this point... I UNDERSTAND doing that.
3) Destroy the whole city, with 0 regard for any life.

I don't see her at number 3 yet. I would absolutely understand her at 2. But 3 was still a long way off for her character.

I am with ya. #2 is the way I really thought she was going to go when Drogon took off. And then I was like, WTF?

I don't know...Cersei's death fulfilled the prophecy.

Really didnt like this episode I have been waiting for 8 seasons all the way from when this dude got his head cut off at the end of the first season to finally see an epic fight and see this queen get killed and it was literally 60min of them just walking in there like nothing and the dragon burning everything down. The golden company was a complete waste of time and I dont know why the hound wanted to kill his brother so badly that he wanted to sacrifice himself, was it because he burned his face when they were kids? Jamie Lannister really just walked in there only to be killed for no reason and that leader instead of trying to escape wanted to try and kill Jamie for no reason I really just cant deal
I have to say this is the oddest complaint I've seen.

I disagree again...and that was just in the books, not on the show

And she just ignored the keep for a long time, too.

She left the thing standing long enough where Cersei actually had a chance of escaping, if Euron hadn't held up Jamie.

She should have beelined to the keep and just leveled it. Cersei was the target of her anger.

Drogon had some 9-11 type fire going on, using it to knock down walls and shit. That was impressive.

I could see this. He has to do it personally. His step daddy taught him that and now it becomes full circle.

I think Dany kills Jon for his "betrayal" last week (and for rejecting her)

and then Arya kills Dany in vengeance for Jon

I'm confused with what you are disagreeing on. She died with a younger sibling's hands around her neck.
that line was only in the books, not on the show

and I wouldn't say it was fulfilled
“When your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.”

Not only that, but as she had the Iron Throne in her grasp she finds that another has a better claim. IMHO she trusted Jon when he said he did not want it but that was not the issue. The issue was that if word got out about Jon's claim then the people would want a king. In the end she was no better in Cersei in her quest for power. There have been hints of this throughout the series. Even her own closest advisors were betraying her. If fear is all one has …

Yep. I would have preferred she and Jon rule together in some wedded bliss with her full promise as a queen being achieved but clearly that wasn't go to happen.

So I'm glad she went out triumphant at least for a little while.

So it's just an odd coincidence? Yeah...I disagree on that one. The whole look in my eyes and hand placement from Jamie would just be weird if they weren't going for something.
