one of the better drafts we have had so far here is my run down

1) haskins ,. qb we needed a qb and he certainly fits the bill . i see a young DW in him and if you look at film , which one poster obviously doesnt , his release and motion are more along the lines of marino not JC . just an uninformed comparison

1b ) sweat , edge , a real steal at 26 and it cost us a mere next years 2nd rounder extra ( plus our 2nd this year ) by mid season he should be the entrenched starter

3) mcclaughrin wr he is 6-0 207 with speed . can play all wr spots . could be a starter by 2020 . i think he is a solid 2 or 3 wr

4) bryce love rb love this pick , forget the ACL thing by 2020 you will have another explosive runner with him guice and CT (if we resign him )

4) martin OG 2nd best value pick in this draft , by 2020 he could be our starting LG has the strength and movement skills to be a quality starter . i think we will start the former NYG guy at first but this guy adds solid depth
5) ross peirchbacher c/og 6-3 304 , again a quality BU c /OG . could be a 10 yr BU center

6) cole holcomb ilb fast smart tackling machine , will start out on ST's but this kid could be the steal of the draft in competition with wr harmon . he will be an early preseason camp favorite among fans . should be great in coverage

6) harmon wr 6-3 221 , this guy can give us dox production most likely right now . he is my other candidate to be steal of our draft . now you may cringe at "dox production " however getting that from our #4 wr would be great in a few years

7) moreland , cb 5-9 170 , a possible slot guy . a typical flier pick who could wind up on the PS or supplant johnson on the roster worth a look for sure and if he can be a return man the even better

7) brailford , edge 6-3 252 lbs , this guy had a huge east /west shrine game and was unblockable which means he could be a decent BU . he is 23 yrs old so the age thing is out of whack

This draft has literally saved me from a total exit. Last year I chose not to watch the Giants game, I had had enough. And this is coming from someone who has missed 2 games in 43 years and those could not be helped. When I heard they were trying to trade into the top 5 for Haskins I was ready to give up on them altogether.

But in all honesty I don't ever remember feeling so positive about a draft before. Of course it all depends on Haskins but at least now they have a possibly solution to the most important position in sports. Then the found an edge rusher and 2 receivers, both huge needs. I have no idea why some are down on the Bruce Love pick. Dude was the runner up in the Heisman voting and we got him in the 4th round? How is that a bad pick?

This was definitely a decent draft, only question is who should start Keenum, McCoy or Haskins?

And I love CT, but are we really going to spend the money for a player who's so injury-prone? I assume he's gone after this season, and I hope he gets paid - seems like a good dude who's worked really hard and overcome a lot.

You don’t get comp picks anymore this year , have to keep both another season
