We used to have several guys from the neighborhood playing it or regular baseball out in the street. Once we got a little older we would go play in a field or at the elementary school.

I can't remember the last time I came across a group of kids playing a pick-up game of baseball. Must be a lost art.

When we did not have enough guys to get a game up we played that game for friendly competition. Today we have latchkey kids
