ep 2 was way too slow. hbo was making bank so they stretched the series out for one more season and it shows. ep1 and 2 could have easily been combined, but instead, i get two episodes of victory laps for the actors.

I actually thought Dany was going to make Sansa the Hand of the Queen.
In an effort to curb Dany's worst impulses, Tyrion has lost his ruthlessness that Sansa now has in spades.

I'm a bit worried that the writers aren't sure how to wrap this up.
Two episodes of reunions and no mention of what's in the crypts, how to use the dragons, anything from Sam's scrolls, etc.
We got Bran telling us that the NK is coming for him to bring an eternal winter.
At that point, why not just take Bran to King's Landing????

We got Bran telling us that the NK is coming for him to bring an eternal winter.
At that point, why not just take Bran to King's Landing????

or a ship and make the night king fight out there. i'm sure the battle scene is going to be great, but im not going to like this as much if the night kings only purpose is to wipe out humanity. I'm still hoping the night king has a reason other than being the last guy standing.

I think Grey Worm is the first death we see.

I did not like how they made Tormund a sad sack for this episode. The getting sloppy drunk, the pathetic boasting.

It really takes him down a peg, and the sad disgust from everyone around him... I just didn't like that sequence.

I think the NK really wants two things. 3ER, and Baby Sam. That baby was promised to him, and he wants it. And I'm not sure how that's going to go.

Ooh, and one thing I'm certain of: That little bundle of rage Lyanna Mormont is gonna survive.

And I think she gets a notch or two in the battle.

I'm having an issue with Bran, um 3 eyed raven who seems very bad at seeing the immediate future. Did the all seeing wizard, not see the movement of the Knight King's Army? Everyone had to wait for Tormund and Co. to tell them the Army will be there by the next night? Bah. What is he good for?

He only gives out information that he needs to.

Getting in the way of letting Tormund break the news about the timeline of the attack doesn't improve preparation at all.

He's the D&D gamemaster, He knows what is going to happen, and what has to be done to make that happen.

If that was the case, wouldn't his army keep collecting bodies until they reached it, making him even more powerful?

Plus, would he be allowed there?

They come back pretty quick, too.

Hardhome shows it doesn't take long at all.

The whole strategy is about breaking through the lines and taking out the lieutenants and the General.

When the White Walkers go, their wight thrall's go, too.
