How? In the shows, the only hint was when he was able to get near the dragons, and that was years ago.
All 3 of their mothers died at child birth and the last scene tonight of him stand a top of the castle between jon and dany seemed to be hinting at it. Maybe I’m looking too much into it. Interested to see what he found out from bran

Yep. Kiss of death was him and Missandie making future plans. They gonna get dead.

Actually now that I think of it, I think Theon will also die next episode. Here's who I think will die next episode:

Grey Worm
Theon
Brienne
Jorah
Rhaegal
Thormund
Beric
Ed
Varys, along with a bunch of no-name characters in the crypts somehow

16 year old me cringed at that. Arya sucks at flirting but she's a girl so being creepy and oh btw take off your pants works.

Tormund was just outclassed. Him: I'm drunk let's go

Jamie: Yeah I got this, sorry bro

Brianne: I like you as a friend maybe blue eyes.

Ya I don’t get how the safest place to hide out is where there are a bunch of dead bodies

Yup and the crypts were mentioned a few too many times as the "safe space" for nothing to happen there. I think Sam, Gilly, Baby Sam, and Sansa will make it out alive though. Missandei too probably.

I forgot about the Karstark chick. She's done too. I thought the only reason they kept her around this long was for her to speak up at Jaime's "trial" about killing her brother, but apparently not.

Too many for one episode IMO...

Honestly, the greatest weakness the writers are showing at this point is an inability to kill off characters. It is what made the series unique early on IMO....

Seriously, think about the crew that went beyond the wall to get a wight... Only one sorta known character died, and if I had to pick one to go, that was the one....

Main characters just aren't dying. Sure, some will soon, but not this many in one episode. Not seeing it. They'll make a huge deal our of one or two deaths, like Theon and the Little Bear Island Lady or something. Doubt we see a major blood letting.

Seems like John might have wanted to wait until they make it through this war before saying anything about being the true heir to the throne.

I guess it must be imporant for the war to come for her to know. He had a flaming sword in his dream, lightbriger maybe?

I'm guessing we might see the Red woman again next week too.

Oh, and I was a bit wtf the Arya scence too. I knew she was old enough but its just kind of weird, when you watched her grow up. Obviously they doctored it up though. I was hoping to see a little more in her "heart to heart" with the Hound. I'm guessing one will save the other in the battle to come. Hound can't die yet either, not without the Cleganebowl.

Karstark chick?

Yes the one that was introduced last season along with the Umber boy. Much to the chagrin of Sansa and most of the Northern/Vale Lords, their families were allowed to keep their lands and titles despite the fact that their fathers betrayed the Starks. She was there for Jamie's trial but never spoke up.

Edit - I guess it would have been her uncle that Jamie killed not her brother, because the guy Robb beheaded would have been her grandfather not her father.

The show is winding down and I think this will be the biggest single episode purge. I guess we'll find out next week.

The only characters at Winterfell guaranteed to live past next episode are:

Jon Snow - " " " "
Daenarys Targaryen - both having unresolved issues after finding out who Jon really is
Sandor Clegane - who has to fight The Mountain in a future episode
Arya Stark - who everything to this point has her killing some big name, either Cersei or the Night King

Obviously more characters will live, and Episode 2 was much about saying goodbye to those that die.

*Please note these weren't actual spoilers, just my opinion.
