Went and baked at the stadium with 18,800+ others today. A great day for the spring game. I hope some of you guys were able to attend.

A few observations. Austin Kendal looks like our best QB. Lowe looks to be the challenger. Jack is a statue and will likely die behind this OL. Speaking of.... OL looked awful. No push for the run and no pass protection . None of the backs looked good, but Leddie Brown was the only one to have any push.

I'm hoping that our defense is just really good. Eit her way, coach Brown has a long way to go.

Other notes... the kicking game wasn't good. Missed a PAT, and punts were low and short.

I do also want to drop Stone Wolfley who had a big day.

It was a beautiful day. Nice sized crowd. Was bummed to get to the parking lots too late to get a spot close to the stadium, but it all worked out well for us to sit and crank some beers before walking to the stadium.

I was not impressed with Austin’s arm... at all. He was as inaccurate as our Skyler. Threw moon balls for anything deep. Even his TD toss was thrown behind Simmons who had to wait and turn around on the ball to get to him.

Captain Jack’s OL was terrible. I think that has more to do with his sack total than his statue play. I thought he showed some good work on a read option run that was called back for holding. He literally had no time... had no pocket around him. He definitely has a strong arm. He threw the ball 40 yds like he was tossing a dart.

I agree. Jack was the best Passer of the day. None of the QBS had time, but he was under pressure more often. I liked his placement of the ball on most of his passes. Pretty good putting the ball where only his receiver can get it. Certainly improved since Syracuse.

What did you think of Trey Lowe?

I love the kid but I think Lowe is still a year or two away but again as with the other QB’s, tough to have a fair assessment with the line play so iffy at best at this point and being a spring game ect.

Well...I was there ...baking in the sun with BBW, drinking beers and telling lies as usual...

I really didn't come away with many thoughts other than I was surprised Kendall doesn't seem to have the arm to push the ball down field...I really liked that Walk-on QB #3...diamond in the rough...

I think CAPT Jack had the best showing, even though his line gave him maybe 0.5 seconds to throw the ball...The offensive lines for both squads...looked ...well offensive! Plenty of time though to get that together...Like 81 out at the Flanker position....didn't see much separation of the receivers except for Simmons...but again their playbook looked like they could call 8 plays...

Liked how they played the WLB down the line..definitely a twist...but basically they just run a 3-3 or 4-3 and Tampa 2 on the back end...going to be an interesting year..

I think Trey has a live arm. He made a poor decision on his INT, but he could be solid down the road.

I hope the down the road is in our new uniforms. He might be a transfer portal entry one day...

Very disappointed in the whole uniform hype and the product we were given. Big deal about nothing...

It’s a New Era though...

So I now know why we didn't see Simms. He is entering the transfer pool.
