No, just saying that Dalton is only 30ish. Give him 7 more years and his stats would be comparable to Bens.
Everyone else.Ben has played around 11 seasons more than Dalton. Take away any 7 years of stats from Big Ben, and don't factor in the 2 Super Bowls, you basically have 2 identical quarterbacks. Now if we are to say, the only criteria for a qb to reach the HOF is winning a Super Bowl or a playoff game, well then I guess your standards would be pretty low. In baseball its like, win 300 games or get 3000 hits, or hit 400 homeruns without taking too much performance enhancing drugs, and your in, regardless of how many playoff games you won or world series games you win. I think a qb should be the same. Maybe 250 Tds, or throw for x amount of yards in your career, and you should start to get some serious consideration.
Another serious consideration is Marvin Lewis. Everyone has said what a terrible coach he was, well look what Dalton has achieved under a bad coach. Had he played for the Steelers or Patriots, just imagine what he would have achieved?
This is the most ignorant comment I have ever heard. Only a handful of qbs have made teams with nothing better and Dalton is not one of them. Dalton is exactly what he has shown, a mediocre, never will be in the hall of fame, and will never win a Super Bowl quarterback.IF Dalton had played for the Steelers, he would have won more than 2 Super Bowls by now. If Ben had played for the Bengals, he wouldn't have won a playoff game yet either. Dalton has made what would have been bad Bengals' teams good. A lesser qb wouldn't have even made it to the playoffs as Dalton has.
Reflecting back, I think Marvin Lewis might not have been a very good coach? Hindsight is 20/20
Then why do his stats and all-time rankings prove otherwise? Why are qb's behind him in stats in the HOF?This is the most ignorant comment I have ever heard. Dalton isn't playing another 7 years. I doubt the Bengals resign him when his current contract runs out ( after the 2020 season). If the Bengals had a QB to turn to, he'd be gone even sooner. No, just saying that Dalton is only 30ish. Give him 7 more years and his stats would be comparable to Bens.
Hey, if any more of those moderator gigs come up, keep me in mind! I scored a 54% on my Wonderlic test.Dalton isn't playing another 7 years. I doubt the Bengals resign him when his current contract runs out ( after the 2020 season). If the Bengals had a QB to turn to, he'd be gone even sooner.
Still no answer to the wager I see. Coward.Emmitt Smith stayed healthy and had more more drive than Sanders. Overshadowed them both in the end, just like Dalton. We'll see.
That's just crazy, ignore the stats and then just put in whoever you feel like deserves in? Everyone would have their own opinions. Can't ignore the stats, and the stats prove that Dalton is on track to join the Hall of fame.
That's about what I thought the jist of your trolling ass would answer with.If Andy Dalton makes the HOF, you can kiss my Arse,
If Andy Dalton fails to make the HOF, you can kiss my Arse
Not all those guys are necessarily better. And some have Just been playing a few short years. Some have had a good season or two. Like Trubisky, Garopalo, Wentz, .............a good season or 2. Mahomes has played one good season, could be out of the NFL next year for all we know due to injury. Just because a guy has one good year, they haven't matched Dalton.Brady, Luck, Watson, Foles, Carr, Flacco, Mahomes, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Mayfield. AFC qbs better.
Wentz, Manning, Ryan, Cam, Brees, Wilson, Goff, Garopalo, Trubisky, Rodgers, Cousins, Stafford. NFC qbs better. That's 22 qbs better than Dalton, and that is only selecting the sure fire better than him. I gave you the benefit of the doubt on a few iffy ones like Jameis, Darnold and such.
Avg stats??? Let me know when Dalton finishes in the top 5 of the entire league in anything other than interceptions.Andy Da

And Rome. Should Dalton stay healthy 2 more seasons and put up his average stats, he would surpass Romo in most categories.
