Well they at least showed up for one game in this thing. Now to play Utah and hopefully they can pull out another win against them like they did earlier in the year.
Go Ducks

Another win for the Ducks. Hopefully they can keep this going against ASU.

Pretty solid performance by UW so far. But there were a lot of open looks from 3 that Colorado missed that a better team would have hit. I think they punched their ticket tonight but from what I've seen getting out of the 1st round would be a huge accomplishment.

It's been a weird last couple of weeks for the dawgs. Haven't been playing sound ball for more than short bursts.
Depends on where they end up in seeding as to whether or not they can reach the second round, but I don't see them on a deep run for sure.

Can't complain though. Hell of a turn around the last two years and boy are they on a much better arc than they were. Nothing but blue skies ahead.

Don't get me wrong, it's a huge improvement. We bricked a lot of open 3's tonight as well. It seemed like there was a little bit if indecision when guys had wide open looks. I liked Romar as far as graduating guys and no bs with law enforcement for everybody not named Overton but Hopkins is a way better x's and o's guy. It seems that with him he wants guys to do their thing vs the painful to watch vs the dated perimeter offenses that Romar ran.

But watching the game tonight, with the open looks they gave up from 3 with the collapsing defense, any legit team would have been maybe +12 vs what Colorado did. Things look very promising but this team is still a couple of years away.

Oregon is an I teresting team . 22 wins, a NET likely to be around 50, some good wins . Kind of odd ASU is seen as a last 4 in type team but Oregon isn't even in most people's next 4 out. Their metrics aren't really much different , if anything Oregon's are better in most cases .

Man if the big guy wouldn’t have gotten hurt earlier this year this team would be so good. Oh well.
On to the finals to play the team up north.

Pac might get one in, might get up to 3, but none of them will make waves. Not enough offensive firepower on any of them to get deep in the tournament. All can play defense pretty decently, but that's not enough.

Oregon is better than Arizona State.

But Arizona State has done more for a bid.

Predicting a Ducks win tonight?

Reverse jinx?
I think a lot of our fans that haven't followed round ball enough might mistakenly feel the run the ducks have been on recently is enough. It's for sure possible they get in even with a loss, but it's far from a done deal. They are on a 7 game winning streak, but will the national folks give them the credit they probably deserve for overcoming the loss of their top player early and taking time to find a grove after that? The conf is not looked at very highly nationally right now.
