Again...fair opinion.

Would you expect Kaep to tell Nike?...no, I don't want that icon jersey?

Kaep is what he is...but to me that seems like we have a major corporation using Kaep to push their own agenda.

Of course Kap isn't gonna refuse the handout and yes NIKE is using him but also paying him.
And it became lucrative again because of the settlement...He took the NFL's lunch, and mooned them....NIKE HERO = $$$$$$$$

How so ?????
A trial would be daily coverage and the big company typically gets the most negative coverage of it. The $60 or so the NFL paid to settle is chump change to them to avoid a long heavily covered trial.

I think we're saying the same thing OS.

I still think the NFL paying him off was the cheapest move...Nike giving this guy a platform for his "cause" keeps his image, name in the media, but it doesn't really make anything worse for the NFL....certainly not in the same manner that a collusion trial would.

I don't condone killing the man, but if you think they could get away with it...what I don't know won't hurt me in that case.
He's earned the relevant consequences even if his creepy bitch put him up to it all. I'm just pointing out how weak the league is and how they can be had by racial and political schemers.

Nah...he hasn't earned death imo.

You see the league as weak in this instance...I see a large powerful entity that handles such matters just like most other large powerful entities...they seek the lowest cost remedy...a lot of the time that means settle out of court.

After the long 2 yr Brady saga, you think that ???
They knew he was guilty, and it looks like they were guilty this time, whether they were or not...
They aren't worried about the negativity or the money, it's what's in their closet they don't want revealed IMO....

Smart move by the NFL. I myself started gathering and hiding dirt in my storage closet a few years back. I imagine it will at some point become relevant and highly valuable when the nukes land and contaminate unsecured soil. Got about 1,528 pounds of dirt in stock. Feel good about it.

Plus, when you need to re-sod a field....you've got dirt

Well, I'm one of those guys that dissects words and compares them with actions to determine a truth....It looks and sounds disingenuous to me and I think most vets and patriots will feel that they empowered this bum by caving like a coward to him...

One thing I can't stand is a whining little snitch, who loves to run their mouth but can't handle the heat....You are the biggest wus I've come across on this board....
Always whining about something and now begging the mods for help...
Here's a thought, put me on your ignore list and stay out of big boy conversations...
I won't miss you, I promise !!!!!

Consider yourself IGNORED, SNITCH !!!!!
I find this hilarious considering your op was whining like a little bitch over what a person does during a song.

If you actually did that, you wouldn't be trying to compare an on-going case (Brady) that created the image of the NFL trying to look clean to an on-going case that would only make the NFL look dirty.

60 Million to avoid a 2-5 years public relations disaster.

The NFL is not the NBA. They don't have a black gay man running the show that prevents the left from going after it.
The left hates the NFL and a long drawn out legal process would amount to ringing the dinner bell for them.

And by getting Kapp to take a check, ...his "sacrifice everything" mantra looks really stupid now.

Prolly still Flacco.

Kaep never impressed me with anything but arm strength. Even as a runner, not overly impressed. Harbaugh should've stuck with Smith imo. He was always the better QB.

Alex Smith is garbage. There's a reason Kaep took his job, and the offense scored more points and gained more yards (and went beastmode in the playoffs).

There's a reason the Chiefs players had career years and set records the second Alex left.

There's a reason the Redskins pass catchers numbers went down. They scored under 20 ppg with Alex, and couldn't move the ball through the air with either.

Alex is a checkdown king (unless Hill is open by 5 yards). He's been lucky to have defenses hold opponents under 20 points regularly and have enough talent on offense to make plays with his checkdowns. Checking down on 90% of his passes means nothing without a team to carry him.

You should check Kaeps and Alex career TD%, int%, passer rating, YPA etc. You'd be surprised to find, that pass for pass, Kaep is better at pretty much everything.

I quit reading after your first sentence.
