A 9-game conference schedule doesn't help your SOS when you are in a league like the Pussy-12 (or the ACC, for that matter).
If only SEC teams could do such a thingUNC @ Wake is not an ACC game this year. They wanted to play more often than they had been and signed the game.
So what kind of bandwagon phegget has Bama, Clemson and LSU as their teams?A 9-game conference schedule doesn't help your SOS when you are in a league like the Pussy-12 (or the ACC, for that matter).
That's really not a new thing. Back in the days before 12-game schedules became the norm, Alabama had scheduled 8 conference games while most of the rest of the league was still playing seven. As a result, Bama's game vs Ole Miss that year was played as a non-conference game. That was back in the Bear Bryant days.If only SEC teams could do such a thing
Baylor?
You telling me a school can recover faster from basically advertising r*pe as a recruiting tool than from putting a kid in a tool shed?
Cool

The only pheggets I know around here are the ones that wear MAGA hats.
Well that's a novel idea. Sounds like something other schools might do instead of going 8-10 years before rolling around to play some of their own conference opponents!

yep and just two more games isn't enough
ACC just needs to restructure their divisions the next time they get a chance
The problem is there's no way to restructure the divisions to accomplish that and have any hope of overall parity in strength.A division with the four NC teams in it is going to be even weaker than the Coastal is now.
The biggest problem I have with the divisions is the fact that Atlantic Division teams get stuck having to make annual trips to the recruiting deadlands that are the northeast while the Coastal gets annual exposure in Virginia. If we are going to have a true zipper alignment then they have to move either VT or UVA to the Atlantic and either BC or Syracuse to the Coastal.
