except he thinks of that as his team. dont see him thinking that going to be the new player on a team.
I'd be more inclined to think that if he was still a younger guy, but he has the veteran resume, and he clearly isn't a fan of taking orders. Most teams with an established QB who is close to the SB is very disciplined with a stable locker room, so I'm not sure that sort of environment would be that welcoming.

Ship him to Detroit, I say. Let him see what it's like to wallow in mediocrity year after year. Apologies to Lions fans here. I honestly feel bad for y'all.

I get it we all want out Pro Athletes to be nice and quiet, but I am not sure The Steelers organization is not starting to rust. James Harrison issues a few years back, Ben talked about retiring when it felt a bit premature, Bell now Brown. Players are going to speak up for themselves I get it just not sure all the blame in this belongs to AB

Not saying there isn't two sides to this and maybe some personal issues between people but AB walked out on the team mid week before the final game of the season when they were still battling for a play-off spot and disappeared without so much as a "how do you do". Unacceptable under any circumstances, imo.

I agree but I would sure like to know what events led up to that. On field, off field and locker room room issues are almost always trumped by talent in this league.

Yeah, as most of the Steeler fans on here have stated, Tomlin has let a lot of shit get out of control there. Sometimes you just have to rein these horses in a little to keep there head straight. That goes for Ben and all the rest. You would have thought some of these assholes would have been inspired and humbled by what Ryan Shazier has had to deal with and how well he has handled things. But they all seem to be too busy thinking of themselves.

Every team wants this guy and the Steelers are too stupid and poorly operated to keep him.

Shit is hilarious.

Tomlin is a terrible coach, but this stuff is management's fault. They let the stars feel unwanted.

Could be one of those draw a line in the sand situations for the Steelers - I hope they sit on his contract and treat him like the turd he is. Call his bluff - go ahead and sit out... Unlike Bell, they own his rights for 3 years.

A lot of people want to point the Tomlin and I don’t think there will be much dispute that he’s a “players coach” and therefore let’s things slide. However, a man is responsible for his OWN actions and words.

AB is a dipshit.

What does that mean?

It means none of us here knows what took place yet all fingers want to point to AB. It seems highly unlikely he sat the game out just for shits and fucking giggles. To many times we act as if we know the whole story when in fact much of it is being held back.

I am not saying he lacks responsibility in this I just think there was something driving him to the point where he felt he needed to act in such a manner and based on other recent events in that organization I think there is blame to be spread on more than just one person.

Whoa... my comments were about his ACTIONS and, to a lesser degree, his words. His actions about flipping a water cooler in the middle of a game screams he’s a dipshit. His actions of tossing hotel furniture off a high floor balcony screams dipshit. His actions of facebooking live during a PRIVATE locker room meeting screams dipshit. If I thought hard enough I’m sure I could come up with more.

As for his walking out of practice... I’ll say this: no matter how flat the pancake is it always has two sides but walking out on your teammates in the middle of the week of a crucial game and not returning till game day (for ANY reason) is unprofessional to say the least and IMO screams ... dipshit
