I am a big Neil Gaiman fan and have been looking forward to how this show would look as a television series. The characters should be all sorts of weird and the concept will most likely be trippy. I am thinking something like Legion where there will be a lot of "WTF am I watching" moments.

Anyone else tuning in?

Between Better Call Saul, The Leftovers, and trying to finish the third season of Peaky Blinders, I doubt I will have time, though the reviews have been great so I will probably check it out at some point in the summer or next fall. I saw it has the main character from Deadwood, right? He was a good actor, though I couldn't really get into Deadwood as a whole personally.

Haven't run across it on the streaming site I use yet. Has it started airing yet? On my 'must see' list though. Gaiman's novel was fantastic, if maybe a bit too sprawling and epic.

Shit looks weird as fuck but apparently Bryan Fuller jumped off of the new Star Trek series to executive produce this. Must have seen some real potential. I'll give it a shot. Legion was weird as shit too and it was real good.

I don't think it is premiering until April 30 on Starz

Alright, my interest is peaked. Pretty damn interesting show about the different things worshiped in America be it religion or technology. Now whether anything comes of it, we'll see, but it's a fascinating acid trip of a show so far.

I give Gaiman a lot of credit. Dude has some interesting concepts running through his head.

I guess you need to know about the books or whatever it was to understand what is going on. But any show that has a man devoured by a cat in its first episode deserves at least a month of viewing.

Pussy is just another thing worshiped. At least that's what I got out of it. You're talking about the black chick right? Or am I just forgetting the part where a cat ate somebody?

I watched the first episode and it didn't make much sense but I did enjoy watching the black woman suck the fat white guy into her vagina.

Admittedly it took me a while to check it out but it was pretty good. I'd definitely recommend for those that don't mind a little out of the box stuff

see american gods season 2 is starting tonight and see the carousal is a setting. forget if i read american gods (don't think so) pretty sure i read anansi boys, but i remember the carousal as the one of the first settings for the major meat, so pretty cool to see. also pretty sure both books are in the same universe. also can't wait for good omens. RIP to Terry Pratchett.

yea the carousel was a big scene in American Gods...been a while since I read it though and I forget how it intertwines with Anansi Boys, but I imagine we may see a little of both in the show. Anansi will probably be a bigger character in season 2, I would guess.

I am not sure I rememeber a carousel scene in Anansi Boys...but I remember it in American Gods

I also remember a car being driven out on the middle of a frozen lake and Shadow eating a lot of meat pies...I probably should reread American Gods because a lot of it is still fuzzy to me.
