Clemson lost last year. Bama has made it how many times in a row? Until Clemson wins this game, and beats Bama another 2 times in a row, there is no changing of the guard in my opinion. It’s simply a 2 team race.

Agreed. If Clemson wins (I'm still nervous), that will make them 2-2 in the postseason. And both senior classes will be 55-4 with 2 titles (and 11 of the 12 playoff victories). I view them as complete equals, no matter what happens tonight. And it's weird, because I think the two teams and fan bases really respect each other without hating one another.
