RB Miles Sanders, PSU

PSU getting hit hard with early departures.
Ouch. I don't think it's a bad call for him, and they have stud RBs behind him ready to play, but they needed his veteran presence. Ricky Slade and Noah Cain should still be good enough to keep the offense going. Biggest question is who lines up at QB between Clifford and Stevens.

They've already idiotically granted next year to Jameis, so you're right there. It wouldn't be surprising to see a team like Jacksonville or Denver try and jump up to grab him. Both are extremely desperate for a QB. I said yesterday it wouldn't surprise me to see Dalton sent packing, and Denver makes sense, but Jacksonville has nothing going for them.

As long as no one jumps the Giants, they should be the one getting Haskins. The O-line is a problem that they'll have to address in the draft or free agency. Beckham is kind of a quirky guy that could easily jump ship when his contract is up. That would hurt.

I think they'll be a top 10 defense next year, so it may not matter too much. They should go 10-2 or 11-1.

It wouldn't be shocking to see them go WR in the first round in 2020. My guess is the Giants aren't going to be great next year, so Jerry Jeudy would be a great addition.

That'd be quite a jump. With all their personnel losses, I was going to say 8-4 or 9-3. Their OOC is trash, but conference games at Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan State, along with michigan at home will be tricky.

If they're ranked(which I think they will be) that Michigan game is an automatic win at that point. I don't think MSU is much different than this past season. Only for sure loss would be Ohio State. I still think the Iowa game is a toss up.

I don't know that replacing McSorely will be that easy, and there were a lot of games where he was the reason they won. Without him they were probably a 6-6 team this year, and it's not like Clifford or Stevens appear to be studs themselves. I know michigan has a lot of personnel losses themselves, but they've recruited just as well as Penn State and they absolutely wrecked PSU this season.

Yes, but Michigan can't beat a competent team on the road, let alone an actual good team. PSU by 2 TD's in that one.

Fair. However PSU wasn't stellar on the road either. They got destroyed by michigan, barely got past Indiana, and inexplicably struggled to beat Rutgers. Not to mention how they played in their bowl game. Don't forget their home loss to OSU when they had back-to-back cupcakes leading up to it, along with laying an egg against MSU at home after the bye. Now they have to beat OSU, MSU, and Iowa on the road. I'm not seeing 10-2, let alone 11-1.

I'm not predicting MSU or Iowa to be anything other than average next season. I think it's reasonable to expect a split.

MSU was pretty average this year and they took PSU out in Happy Valley.

I actually think Iowa could improve next year, especially if Hockensen stays another year. They have a solid OL/DL, and Nathan Stanley is back. Plus, playing in Iowa City is not easy.

Agreed but it took PSU shitting down their legs to do it. I still can't believe PSU lost that game.

And I can see Iowa being another 8 win team. Nothing great, but better than mediocre.

It took them shitting down their leg with their best QB in team history, and at home no less. We rip michigan for being a poor road team, but PSU is not much better. They haven't beaten a ranked road team since 2013, against #22 Wisconsin.

I don't expect MSU or Iowa to be ranked. Maybe Iowa, but in any case it'll be in the 20's probably.

Ok, well just my opinion. I'd like to see him prove me wrong. Seems like a nice guy.

Pretty sure those two get rid of the ball in a flash. I didn't see that in Haskins. To me he's gonna have trouble with the rush when his first option is not there.

Yeah I think Haskins is pretty much locked in top 6 imo but teams could trade up and get him in the top 5. I wouldn't even be surprised to see him go top 3 tbh.

I could see Iowa ranked, probably 4-1 since they have to face michigan. Sparty, probably not. They have a tough road. At any rate, though, I'm not sure PSU is elite next year. 2020, probably yes.

Darius Slayton for Auburn

Actually probably works out well for us because we have a couple WR that are interested and this sweetens the pot.

Stidham already announced and I wish him well but not upset.

Couple of D line have yet indicated what they are doing but we’re loaded there.

Or they might be 3-2. If I had to guess, I'd say they'll be an underdog against isu and Michigan. It'd take an upset to be 4-1 IMO.

Not so sure about ISU. Losing Montgomery and Butler will hurt quite a bit. No other RB had more than 143 yards and no other WR had more than 417 yards, so that's a lot of production to replace. Iowa returns their entire running back stable, and could possibly return their leading receiver along with a 3rd year starting QB. Plus it's not like Ames is a difficult place to win.
