Jordan Fuller announces he is returning. This is a big one for OSU's secondary.
Nice... Definitely will help the secondary next year. The defense has a chance to be pretty good.

That's never stopped you before.

If I were to guess, this may be a pick'em, but highly unlikely to be more than maybe 1.5 points either way. Hardly an upset when a team ranked in the late-teens beats a team ranked in the low-20s.

I think ISU will be favored by 2.5 when the early line comes out(if it does) and by game time expect to be about that. But like I said it would take an upset for Iowa to be 4-1.

Not an upset if Iowa is ranked higher, which I expect them to be.

Yes that guy. A hall of fame QB that played at the University of Texas. What was the name of the QB from Ohio State in the HOF again?

Are you sure you're not a michigan fan? Acting like guys that played during the Truman presidency are relevant?

Layne was a pussy little prima donna before there were prima donnas. Celebrating a guy with shitty stats who played before the AFL/NFL merger gives you no merit here. He was about as good as Mike Tomczak.

An Ohio State fan would never admit it but the best QB's to play at a Midwest school were Joe Montana and Tom Brady.

Why? That's retarded. Don't forget Drew Brees, I'm putting him ahead of Montana.

You can I'm not, hasn't won enough and passing numbers have been increased by how the game is called Lawrence Taylor would have eaten Drew Brees alive if he had to play him in his prime. Get back to me when Brees is 4-0 in the Super Bowl.

The best QBs to ever play at a Midwest school were Tom Brady and Joe Montana.

QBs to win a SB:
Joe Flacco
Trent Dilfer
Doug Williams
Brad Johnson
Mark Rypien
Jeff Hostetler
Jim McMahon

When you have an elite team, winning a SB is a lot easier. Let's stack them up as QBs:

Completion %:
Brees: 1
Montana: 15

Yards:
Brees: 1
Montana: 19

QB Rating:
Brees: 3
Montana: 13

Passing TD:
Brees: 2
Montana: 17

Brees crushes Montana in everything both qualitatively and quantitatively. But you're right, Montana played with way better personnel and coaches. Good for him, nice career. But stop being a Domer homer.

the number that really matters is 4-0 vs 1-0, Also when you get there four times the sample size is larger, one game against the Colts isn't enough. Here's has been terrific in the regular season the playoffs really matter. I will add him to the best to play at a Midwest school behind Montana and Brady, he'll they are some of the best to play at any school.

It's not though. If you say that, than you believe that Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino.

QBs don't play 22 positions while also coaching, just FYI

He's has played in an era with increased offense so the difference in the numbers are not as important to me as how they play when the game matters. I'm not about to compare a hall of famer with Dilfer but he does have a better record in the Super Bowl though he did nothing to achieve that.
