I’m told the line is down to 5...whatever that means.
Betting against the public is a winning betting strategy.

This ^^^^^^
I think the Bears need the win for a bye. They won't be throwing shit. Having said that the Vikes should be favored at home but only by 3 points!I’m not saying they shouldn’t be favored but 7 seems like a big line. Seems like there may be some inside info that the Bears don’t want to face the Eagles and are going to throw the game.
The Vikings played like absolute shit at Chicago and kept it a one score game. Stefanski calling plays in Minnesota, I like the Vikes.
It was a close game. Did you watch it? Bears pressured the hell out of Cousins. Again, new guy calling plays, more dedication to the run. Vikings don’t turn the ball over, they win. They scored a meaningless TD late.
Still doesn't make sense that they are a TD favorite over the Chicago Bears. Minnesota lost to Chicago earlier in the year and the Bears have the 2nd best defense in the NFL and one of the best offenses in the NFC. Unless Chicago rests some starters, which they won't because they can still get a 1st round bye with a win and a Rams loss, there's no way Minnesota beats Chicago.
It wasn't a close game... Did you watch? The Bears beat the Vikings down, were up 22-6, then coasted. You might want to rewatch that game sober. The final score in no way reflected the game. Even Zimmer said as much.It was a close game. Did you watch it? Bears pressured the hell out of Cousins. Again, new guy calling plays, more dedication to the run. The Vikings accomplished nothing on offense and were never down by more than 2 scores. If you think that’s dominating, then prepare yourself for the letdown you’re doing to get in the playoffs. It wasn't a close game... Did you watch? Maybe they didn't accomplish anything on offense because they were dominated. duhThe Vikings accomplished nothing on offense and were never down by more than 2 scores. If you think that’s dominating, then prepare yourself for the letdown you’re doing to get in the playoffs.
Which is exactly my point. But yeah, the Bears were lucky to beat the Vikings. <roll eyes>Maybe they didn't accomplish anything on offense because they were dominated. duh
Well let's put things in perspective. The Bears have been one of the worst franchises in the NFL for a while. Before the season started, no one gave them a chance to make the playoffs except for a few die-hard fans on this board. Hell, I thought they would be lucky to win 7 this season. But here we are, the Bears have won 11 games and won the NFCN. They are a very young and talented team, and barring injuries should be relevant in the NFC for the next few years. So if the Bears shit the bed in the playoffs I will not be let down. They play a hard, defensive style of football that dominates opposing offenses... So much so that casual fans would characterize the opposing offensive performance as "an off day" or "they didn't do anything".The Vikings accomplished nothing on offense and were never down by more than 2 scores. If you think that’s dominating, then prepare yourself for the letdown you’re doing to get in the playoffs.
