The closest player I can think of to Murray is Micheal Vick, he is a once in a generation QB. If he wins, I doubt anyone will say it's a bad pick. The guy has done some unbelievable things on the field. OU has just been blessed with back to back, none stereo type great QB's.

Murray will be successful against any defense, dual threat QB with his arm and quickness, will give every defense nightmares. How do you defend a guy that can hit the out route, the over the middle or deep ball. Or worse yet, run for 60 yards untouched?
Murray is going to play baseball. He may try the NFL, but it wont take long for him to realize that scat bullshit won't work. Murray is too damn small to play from inside the pocket, NFL defenses are too damn fast for him to make a living as a scrambling QB.

Its cause they are white isn't it.
White players are obsolete.

Well, except for maybe centers and kickers.

But even then, only Euopean kickers, so, kickers won't be white by the next generation.

They don't even have Mayfield's statue up yet:

Except those statistics in that tweet are misleading as hell.

That tweet is comparing number of snaps (which is both a rushing and passing statistic, since snaps include QB runs, handoffs, and passes) against passing yards and passing touchdowns, so snaps with QB rushes and RB handoffs are all getting lumped into a comparison against passing output. That's just plain bad math.

A more statistically-valid comparison would be comparing passing attempts against passing yards and passing touchdowns, in which case we get a very different picture:

Passing attempts by #Heisman finalists in 2018:

Kyler Murray: 340:
Passing Yards: 4053, TDs: 40

IF Tua had 340 passing attempts:
Passing Yards: 3878, TDs: 43

Tua Tagovailoa: 294:
Passing Yards: 3353, TDs: 37

IF Kyler had 294 passing attempts:
Passing Yards: 3505 TDs: 35

So if passing attempts were equal, Kyler would have marginally more passing yards, while Tua would have marginally more passing touchdowns. But that's passing yards and passing touchdowns only, which brings us to the next point...

The above tweet pretends like the only value in a quarterback is passing. But Kyler is a dual-threat quarterback. Besides those 40 passing touchdowns, Kyler also has 11 rushing touchdowns and 892 rushing yards. Tua has only 5 rushing touchdowns and 190 yards. Kyler has enormous rushing value added that Tua does not.

Tua is a dual threat when his knee and ankle are healthy. Hopefully they will be for the Orange Bowl.

Also Tua # would be against 6 top 50 defenses while Kylers would be against 3...1 of which is Army who runs a triple option.

Kyler will win though mainly because they always look for a way to take it away from the leader all season.

Murray will win the HT, but how do we know any of that?

Last year all we heard was how without Mayfield OU would be a 4-loss team, yet his backup has been even better.

Murray should win the Heisman for what he did on the field, not for speculation.
Take it from us.....that Austin Kendall guy SUUUUUUUCKS...and don't get us started on how overrated that Spencer Rattler kid is.

I'm not saying Kyler shouldn't be in the top 3. My point is all the talk about Kyler having better stats doesn't take into account the quality of defenses each candidate has faced throughout the season. Anyone care to debate Kyler faced tougher defenses than Tua this season?

And hell, I'd put the AAC defenses up against the garbage in the Big 12 any day. As i've said a few times here ... UCF is a great fit for the Big 12.
You're making generalizations based on narratives. Those don't work out very well...in general.

Murray leads the country in total offense (4,945 yards), points responsible for (306) and passing efficiency (205.7).

Win or lose Saturday I respect the Hell out of Tua for playing on a bad knee the last half of the season and playin while he cpuld barely walk Saturday, even if that performance will probably cost him the Heisman.

Baker Mayfield isn't relevant?
I was just pointing out that half these heisman winners don’t do anything in the NFL.

Baker is having a worse rookie season than Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott’s best season of his whole career might end up being his rookie season. Pump the brakes on your boy Baker. Teams get tape and they watch that tape and adjust.

I'm not honking for Baker, but you said a kid who finished #2 and then #9 in Heisman voting is more relevant at the next level that the collective nine guys who finished above him.

Murray just won AP player of the year, over Tua and Haskins. The Heisman just might be next.

Riley will clean up recruiting QB's for the next few years
