Just wondering are we a lock to play at home on Saturday no matter what happens? Trying to buy tickets but gotta work around everyone's schedule.

I am not sure what the schedule is going to be but they aren't even locked into hosting a playoff series yet. They could open with NY on the road or they can get TB or Boston at home. Only thing that has been decided is that they are definitely not going to Detroit and Detroit is not coming here in the 1st round. If they win tonight and Detroit loses then they are hosting.

So if I'm understanding correctly if we beat Detroit we get the WC at home and if not we get NYY opening on the road. What happens if I get game 2 tickets that end up being on the road? Did I just waste my money or are they good for the next game

"game 2" would be for the 2nd home game.

Which would either end up being Saturday or Tuesday

only if we finish with 2nd best AL record. as of today, we would play either Boston or Tampa at home. but if we end up tied with Detroit, we would open the ALDS in New York
