For sure... He didn't help the Hawks with the mouth he had that prevented teams from giving us better offers...

Well his attitude has fucked up any chances of a trade or a contract extension.

Like someone pointed out, if he had been going to practice from the start, would he still have gotten injured like this? I guess we'll never know but his holdout sure didn't help.

It's not out of the question, but they are saying lower leg and x-ray. I think ACL is more knee and MRI. They are talking about a bone break/fracture based on how it was described.

To be fair I wrote that like 2-3 mins after the injury he was just carted off. Now they are saying leg my guess at the time was knee as many said it didn't look bad on replay and those are the kind of injuries that tend to not look bad but end up being the season. :suds:

From the replay maybe it was how he planted his foot before he leaped over the guy...

To me the OL actually looked almost quite solid these last couple of games

Hell of a lot better than last season at least

There actully , sp, doing what a OLine should.

And IMO i'm unsure what to think about it because it is killing Russell running and those magic plays we love

Worst first 4 games of offense since Russell was a rookie, and it's not even close.
I agree, but I am also willing to give it time to breathe.

I'm not calling for Schottenheimer's head, just agreeing that firing Bevell wasn't just gonna be the instant fix to the offense. I've actually seen Schottenheimer's play calling to be a lot more vanilla than Bevell's (one of the complaints about Bevell). There hasn't been a balanced attack yet - we're either throwing 70% of the time or running 70% of the time and there doesn't seem to be any halfway in there. Something's just not right with the offense right now - and I hope it gets fixed in the weeks to come.

Glad he stepped up on the last drive though, looked sharp getting us in field goal range...

he always does that and even though it's awesome i wish he could play like that ALL the time. It's maddening! lol I swear to god he has to be one of the best 4th Quarter QB's ever and last drive QB's.

and Dissly
Seahawks rookie tight end Will Dissly leaves Cardinals game with torn patella tendon

It was what i thought it was when i saw it :( that's to bad. Like they say most do not come back from this injury.

Gutted by this. He really could of been a big bright spot for the offense this year. Hopefully, he can recover from this like Graham did, although it's more of like a 18 months to 2 years rehab. Even if he comes back next year, you have to be extremely careful and you could tell they were being extremely cautious with Graham the year he came back from that injury and his role was greatly reduced.

I know that it's only been 4 games, but Schottenheimer has been as disappointing as a play caller as I expected him to be. I just don't understand why in this era of intelligent and innovative play calling (see Rams, Chiefs, Bears, etc.), we go out and get an OC whose entire reputation is centered around his "old school" philosophies. Pete Carroll has some odd fascination with running the ball that simply doesn't correlate with winning football games, statistically speaking. Our offense is in the wrong decade.

Outside of that, nice to get a win although that's about as negative as you can feel after a win. Arizona is a BAD team. Even if Rosen pans out, that team has a long ways to go. And then losing Earl and Dissly in the same game was a gut punch.

Hard to feel optimistic about this weekend. I know home/road obviously plays a part, but it's unfathomable to me that the Rams were 7 point favorites over Minnesota and this coming week.

Well, we got the win. I guess it's now a thing that we have to lose 2 players for the season to get a W in Arizona??

It shouldn't have been so hard, especially with how well we were moving it on the ground. Not taking a single shot down field was a serious head-scratcher for me, and I grumbled when we didn't run it on 3rd & 1 in the 2nd half. I don't like to do the playcalling thing, but I just don't quite understand what Schottenheimer is trying to build with the offense. The OL looks to be quite a bit better than the last couple years, yet it doesn't seem we're doing a good job taking advantage of it.

But as tough as that was, it's much better to be going into this Rams game at 2-2 instead of 1-3.

Honestly, his play calling is all over the place. Makes zero sense.

I need to stop going to Hawks games in Phoenix. I went last year and witnessed the final games (as Seahawks) for both Chancellor and Sherman. And I went this last weekend and watched as Earl played his presumably last game as Hawk. So I was there for the entire core of the LOB's final games due to injuries. I'm bad luck I guess, although we did win both games.
